Top 10 Predictions for E3 2018

I am going to try this again for E3 2018, as I did with 2017. This time I'm going to be more researched and look into more of the rumors and leaks that lead up to the event. Hopefully I'll get more of my predictions correct this time.

If you have any predictions of your own please feel free to share and hopefully some of them may be correct.

The Top Ten
1 Pokemon for the Nintendo Switch will get a release date (or at least a time frame, most likely Holiday 2018)

At first I wasn't sure to go through with this, as I initially believed it's too early for the game to be released, but with all the recent rumors and "leaks" as well as the fact that Nintendo seems pretty confident that the Switch will sell like hot cakes this year, my guess is that they have something big up their sleeve.

Nintendo works in mysterious ways, so you never know but the only two IPs they have left that will drive sales as insane as Mario and Zelda, is Pokemon and Smash. I don't think Nintendo will have Smash coming yet, so Pokemon seems to be the biggest bet right now.

2 Gameplay reveal for Death Stranding seems highly likely

Kojima likes to keep the internet up on it's toes when it comes to Death Stranding. Every single tweet or comment he says will have the internet speculating, whether it is related to Death Stranding or not. So many people are eagerly looking forward to new info, details and theories on how the game will be.

Kojima has stated that the game was in a playable form a while back. Guillermo Del Toro has stated he has seen some of the gameplay even. My guess is while the VGA's announced another trailer to help piece the complex puzzle that is Death Stranding, at E3 a gameplay reveal will be shown that will make every Kojima fan soil themselves in excitement.

3 CD Projekt Red will announce more information on their new upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077

It's been nearly 5 years since it's announcement, but it seems we may have our chance to see a new trailer (or at least a substantial amount of information) for the mysterious IP, that is Cyberpunk 2077.

With the game's Twitter account riling up the internet with a single word, and the fact that the company will attend E3 this year, I have high hopes that Cyberpunk 2077 will be talked about across everywhere when E3 hits.

This a mix of both Blade Runner, and Splinter Cell fused into one. that I would like to know more about.

4 The Last of Us Part II will get another cinematic trailer or a gameplay trailer

After surprisingly not even showing up at last year's E3, I have a feeling that Naughty Dog will be sharing something new for us with their upcoming game.

Since The Last of Us Part II is now the main focus for Naughty Dog and they are Sony's most prime developer at the moment, to have a second E3 in a row to have no mention of the game seems highly unlikely

Well Sony is getting this game sooner than later once the decade has reached its end.

5 Smash Bros. For the Switch will be announced

It seems right that Nintendo will throw in the big one to rile up E3. Last year was Metroid Prime 4 and Pokemon, this year Smash seems like the worthy candidate.

We may probably not get a release date but I'm highly believing we will see the bad boy get a reveal. This would be an exciting E3 moment for sure.

That would be SUPERB. I will be looking forward to it. *prays that there are no Kingdom Hearts characters in the game*

I hope Krystal will make it to the next game's roster...

6 Bethesda will announce the release date for Elder Scrolls 6

It's been confirmed to be in development for awhile now, and I feel like the possibilty of Bethesda giving the latest Elder Scrolls game a release date is highly likely.

Bethesda often only announces games at E3 that will be released the same year. Rumors suggest Bethesda plan on making a big reveal this E3, my guess that it's Elder Scrolls 6. Their last main team game was in 2015, so they should be pretty close to finishing this one. Maybe I'm reaching here but I feel like it shouldn't be disregarded as a possibilty.

7 Metroid Prime 4 will have a gameplay reveal

You may be thinking, "Hold on, Metroid Prime 4 was just announced last year, there's no way they will have gameplay ready"

I have a feeling Nintendo has been working on this game for longer than we initially thought. Plus it's confirmed that Bandai Namco will be working on the new Prime game as well. It seems this game was in plan for development way longer than it's reveal. Nintendo knew that just the slight announcement of it would have the internet and fans just explode. That's all they needed to show. Expect some MP4 at E3 definitely

8 Marvel's Spider-man will get a release date

Insomniac's upcoming title will hopefully be a PS4 classic, and with the excitement and hype around this game, I'm willing to bet that Sony will announce a release for the game at E3.

They have estimated it will be out for Summer of 2018, and E3 is just before the season. It be kind of like a Fallout 4 situation where the release date is announced like only a month or so away.

Considering I was hoping it would make it out in time, but now we are just anticipate an answer this year.

9 Doom 5 will be announced
10 EA will announce Skate 4
The Contenders
11 Crackdown 3 will finally get its long awaited release date

I'm willing to bet Microsoft will give this upcoming Xbox exclusive a release date at E3 this year. It was perhaps delayed to be more optimized for the Xbox One X, and I feel like this game could be a real test to show the power of the console. Let's hope Microsoft does well with this.

12 Superman 64 HD will be announced
13 Square Enix will reveal a release date for Kingdom Hearts 3
14 Activision will give us a good look at the Spyro HD remakes

It has already been confirmed that the original Spyro trilogy will be remade from the ground up into a full on HD remaster, just like the N-Sane Trilogy. It is said that it will release later on in 2018 as a timed PS4 exclusive.

A trailer is suppose to be revealed sometime in March, and my guess is that gameplay and more details will be shown at Sony's E3 press conference. This is kind of already confirmed-ish so which is why I put this at #10.

15 Nintendo will reveal a new Animal Crossing game
16 Nintendo will showcase Fire Emblem Switch as well as provide a release date and DLC information.
17 Pikmin 4 gets announced
18 Valve will release Half-Life 3 this year.
19 More info provided about Beyond Good & Evil 2

After 15 years how much more will be revealed about the greatest surprise of 2017... now Ubisoft can you deliver 2 years in a row?

20 More 3rd party announced for the Nintendo Switch
21 EA will reveal a new Burnout game

Sure why not Burnout series was a pretty great series next to Need for Speed before the quality started to decline later down the road.

There's a remaster of Burnout Paradise coming soon.

22 Title reveal and gameplay trailer of new Sonic racing game.
23 A New Super Mario Maker or a Camila Cabello game will be revealed by Nintendo

I think a Camila Cabello game would be pretty good!

24 Jak and Daxter returns

We all hope that jak and daxter will return to gaming, since we haven't seen a new jak and daxter game for years.

25 Bayonetta 3 gameplay reveal

That look pretty possible based on the peeks I've been seeing.
