Top 10 Best Battle Royale Video Games
Every drop is a gamble. One second you're skydiving into chaos, the next you're duct-taping a frying pan to your backside, hoping it'll deflect bullets. Welcome to the glorious mess that is battle royale gaming, where 100 enter and one limps out with bragging rights and a backpack full of loot.
You know the drill. Shrinking circles, last-man-standing, and looting like a raccoon with ADHD. It's all about quick thinking, sharper reflexes, and sometimes sheer dumb luck. Maybe you're a sniper from the hills. Maybe you're a bush camper. Maybe you just like throwing grenades at your own feet. No judgment here.
This list isn't about which game had the biggest ad campaign or who copied whom. It's about the thrill. The sweat. The satisfaction of a clutch win and the agony of a top-two choke. So scroll through, cast your votes, and help push the battle royale games that actually deserve the spotlight to the top.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds
Best battle royale game ever made. Completely redefined the genre and gave birth to a slew of all-new BR games, including the popular Fortnite Battle Royale mode. PUBG is addictive as hell and will keep you playing for years, trying to score more chicken dinners.
The most fun game I've ever played. The only battle royale game I play, because, in my opinion, it's the only one worth playing. Fortnite is overrated, and Rules of Survival is a rip-off of PUBG. PUBG is the game that popularized the battle royale genre (not Fortnite). PUBG came out before Fortnite, FYI Fortnite fans.

Fortnite: Battle Royale
I have played both Fortnite and PUBG. If you want a slow-paced game and to play against hackers, go ahead, play PUBG. If you want a fun, fast-paced game, play Fortnite.
Also, PUBG costs 30 bucks, and who wants to waste 30 bucks for a game (with no cosmetics) when you can spend that money on dope skins and more? If you don't want to spend money, no problem. Fortnite is 100% free. So, you choose: waste 30 bucks on a slow-paced game, or for free, get a very fast-paced game and spend those 30 bucks on a legendary skin or just keep the cash. Trust me, I know.
People hate this game for the dumbest reasons. Certain people only hate Fortnite because of the cartoon-looking graphics and because they're not good at the game. Fortnite is, and always will be, the best battle royale game ever.
The best part is, it will never truly die because it's the biggest game in the world even after three years. For those who think Fortnite is "trash" or "crap" or whatever, just because you don't like Fortnite, it doesn't mean that it sucks. I understand it's your opinion, but it doesn't mean you should say absurd and idiotic nonsense about the game.
Sure, it may not always have original content, but at least the game isn't pay-to-win. Some of you may not like Fortnite, but many others do because of its high popularity. Just let people who play it enjoy the game. There's no need for hateful and insensitive comments about the fanbase and the game itself. It's just a game, just like every other video game.
If you have a problem with my opinion about Fortnite, then please just ignore my comment. Don't start any unwanted drama over something this small.

H1Z1: King of the Kill
Very good, good graphics, and should be better than PUBG. Plus, now it's free, which means more people are playing. More people should play.
-
Rules of Survival
Awesome, this is an awesome game, like we people of Earth are visiting a real world.

Apex Legends
Fortnite is a trash game. Probably the worst battle royale. But Apex Legends is the best battle royale ever created. This game is better than Fortnite because:
1. The graphics are better.
2. Knockdown shields prevent instant finishing if you have one while downed.
3. No cringe-worthy dances.
4. Better fan base.
5. Better communication (until Epic added an improved ping system into Fortnite).
6. Better combat and gunplay.
7. No building.
8. No fall damage.
9. An actual revive animation.
10. Less pay to win.
11. The guns have actual names.
12. Cooler and better maps.
13. A better storyline that actually makes sense.
14. Sliding and climbing.
15. The abilities each legend has.
16. Gun attachments.
17. First-person shooter.
18. Apex Legends was created by Respawn Entertainment, a game company that is not filled with copycats (unlike Epic).
19. Being able to perform amazing teamwork with your tactical abilities.
20. Gun skins that are reactive when you kill someone.
Those are all my reasons. If I forgot something, please tell me. By the way, if you are wondering why I said that Epic has been copying Apex Legends, it's because they added a respawn van and an improved ping system. They also copied the loot vault from Apex recently and many other things like the decoys, airstrikes, and dome shields. Funny thing, Epic has copied people's dance moves and added them into Fortnite without their consent, and they won the lawsuits (somehow). Hope you enjoyed reading. Have a good day.

Minecraft: Hunger Games

The Culling
It was a fun game that I feel like deserved more attention. Too bad it was ruined by a god-awful sequel, but still a very good battle royale that needs more attention.
-
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4
I think that this game is ranked so low because it isn't solely a battle royale game.

ARK: Survival of the Fittest

Last Man Standing

Tetris 99
Objectively the most unique battle royale game on this list, Tetris 99 is a fun, addicting game with great music. It's easy for your Nintendo Switch and internet to handle, and it's just a wildly amazing take on a classic game!
Also, to the guy who said battle royale games are supposed to be cartoony, clearly, you haven't paid attention to battle royale history. They can be cartoony and weird, but the standard/genre was always meant to be more realistic and grounded.
Is it bad that this is unironically my favorite battle royale?

Arma II: Battle Royale

Stand Out: VR Battle Royale
-
Realm Royale
I really liked the game because of how you can forge stuff and disenchant them. I also liked how you can use different classes with different abilities. Overall, the game is really fun, and I do not know how this game is not on the top 10 list.
Really good, should be in the top ten.
-
Surviv.io
Kinda sad the game is dying and the original developers had to move on to other things.
-
Hopeless Land: Fight for Survival
-
Pixel Gun 3D: Battle Royale
It's like mashing up Apex Legends with Minecraft, but there's variety in weapons and power-ups.
It has loads of game modes you can play with your friends.
-
Ring of Elysium
Escape an astonishing disaster in Ring of Elysium, a battle royale shooter developed by Tencent Games.
-
Zombs Royale

Creative Destruction

Cuisine Royale
"Cuisine Royale is an all-kitchen-warfare Battle Royale game with the most honest system for Loot Boxes ever. Originally an April Fool's joke from developers of squad-based MMO shooter Enlisted, Cuisine Royale was highly appreciated by players and is now released as a stand-alone title."
A pretty fun game.
