Top 10 Terraria Bosses
These are my top picks depending on money, fun value, fairness, and look.(LONG POST WARNING)
Imagine, if you will, that you (the real you, not your character) are roaming a land of fire in the center of the Earth(or bottom if you think it's flat, whatever). You're armed of course, but some utterly UNHOLY creatures are there too. These include some demons. You notice one is carrying a doll of some sort, almost resembling the Guide. Wanting the doll to see what it does, you kill the demon only for the doll to start falling... And it hits the lava. Suddenly, the ground starts shaking as a deafening roar echoes through the Underworld. You turn around, but you are immediately filled with pure terror. A giant, bloody wall of possibly human flesh with thousands of razor sharp teeth is coming for you...
Yeah, the context and buildup to this boss is what makes it so great. Good fight for its stage of the game, too! Only reason this boss isn't actually my favorite is because the task of building a bridge through the Underworld is very long and tedious.
I love this boss just because he has what I think is the best boss design in the game.
The most fun fight without a doubt. Gathering all the scales and demonite never felt so good.
This boss is really weak. I've defeated it like 5 times. But I like it because it gives you shadowscale and demonite.
Just fought this ocular menace, two of them, actually (one spawned naturally, the other manually) and it was intense. I had a godly zombie arm, an ebonwood bow, lead and ebonwood armor, and a mythical slime staff. I killed one, but the other just managed to take me out on its last fringes of life. Hey, at least I killed one..
It's actually easy to defeat once you have good weapons and armor. I used my diamond staff to kill it.
He is so fun to kill! Plus shooting eyes with a gun is fun
Mostly soilders that work for him. You can really kick his sour butt!
I really like the night's edge and, you know, beating the game, so skeletron is a nice fight.
Skeletron was a really fun boss to beat and I enjoyed every second of defeating him!
He's hard and since I like challenge, he is my Favourite boss, he also looks cool!
I really like the Destroyer, personally my favourite boss (on this list). The Destroyer was the one boss that I had extreme difficulty with. I ended up making a massive bridge of wooden platforms and fighting him there, that got him. If you're having trouble but have beaten the other two bosses, use hallowed repeater with jester arrows. Chews through his health.

Oh also, apart from the Moon Lord, Duke Fishron is the hardest boss in the game. Hardest non-boss is the Solar Pillar because of those stupidly over-powered Crawltipedes. They deal about 100 damage with tank Beetle armour and all Warding accessories!
Well the music, Boss 2 is TOO GOOD and also the rhythm of when the eyes are charging in Phase 1 combined with the music is EPIC. Spazmatism is the easier eye simply because you can escape it. Retinazer is extremely accurate and will take you down quick. In phase 2, Retinazer shoots 6 shots in rapid succession to rip you apart. This is when you need to destroy the thing fast! If you get Spazmatism and Retinazer in second phase you don't last very long. A tip to getting the music box for Boss 2 is to kill Spazmatism and then go in your house and wait AFK. Retinazer does not charge in Phase 2 and you can also use this to Heal up to full health and then Tank the final eye. Boom, 'The Twins have been Defeated! '
Actually not a very hard boss. I can crush Plantera with my endgame equipment but the Mech Bosses still are challenging. That said, it's an intense fight, especially in Phase 2.
Possibly the toughest boss in the game. I like battling it. It fills me with nervousness and fear, but also power.
Drops unique and sweet items and is a challenge so it's a Intense and fun battle.
Don't know how this guy was on here. He uses plenty of gadgets to try to cut you, burn you, explode you, and countless other ways.
Upgraded version of skeletron. He has more attacks than normal, and is just feeling awesome!
His attacks in normal mode are comedically easy to dodge, where to the point that I can deferat it with Palladium armor
I think its easily fun like boss who gives extreme( in easy mode) good items.
Good drops. You can only summon it once for a reason.
A relatively easy boss and very fun to battle.
It was so hard, my brother and my friend were both playing Terraria, and it was so hard they both had to fight. AND they had cheated and got the best stuff on a server and it was still hard.
This is pretty much considered the final boss of the game. Although I've beaten him in multiple worlds in my game, facing the Moon Lord is a huge challenge.
He has the coolest weapons and is supposed to be the hardest boss in the game for a reason. Why would you not like him?
I like how you have to kill these tiny orb guys before you fight the boss. Very fun fight.
It took so long. Me and my cousin were instantly dying and had to work really hard to get the truffle worms. Until finally one day, fully prepared with terra blade, vampire knives (my personal favourite), spectre staff, and frost hydra. When he went into his second form we were both still on golden hearts. We then quickly got him on extremely low hearts but then I died. So did my cousin. But he didn't despawn. He flew straight to me and I hit him a few times with my terra blade and he died. We were screaming. But all we got... was a bubble gun

Well... this is honestly lower on the list than I had thought. Sure, it's pretty easy. But the fight us FUN. That and it's awesome design make this the best boss for me.
The fight is a really well put together fight, they just really need to buff him.
Really nice vanity as well.
Cool spells. Doesn't drop anything I want except for the new table which is annoying. Still hardcore.

Easy, but super fun! I like how you can kind of control whether you want it to randomly happen, as you have to break a crimson heart/shadow orb to even let it spawn.

I don't play Terraria, but this is how I think it works.
The Lunatic Cultist is killed. Celestial creatures from planets hidden in the Solar System invade Earth as their king's defeat angers them. The Vortex pillar can pull you in, and summons ranged enemies. The Stardust pillar doesn't attack directly, but summons creatures which will summon more creatures. The Nebula pillar doesn't attack directly either, but summons magical, mystical enemies. And the Solar pillar, which appears the hardest, honestly, can shoot meteorites down and summons melee enemies. Each pillar must have 100/150 of their enemies destroyed before being able to be attacked. Once the last pillar is killed, a message says "IMPENDING DOOM APPROACHES..."
Maybe you're wearing your best armor now and wielding your best weapon now, or perhaps you run back home one last time to gather your stuff. Otherwise, once you are ready, wait for the minute-countdown to come to an end. The final boss, the Moon Lord, is here. Read about the Moon Lord page, bro.
He's very easy if you have endgame gear (I expected him to be much harder) but he's still a pretty cool and well-executed boss fight.
He's easier with weapons that you already defeated him with. My possessed hatchet does 154 damage
Pretty easy boss, but hard to beat without friends playing with you.
If your new to the game, kill king slime first w/ ranged weapons and 35 block high rope, slime mount is SO worth it, and the slime gun is a fun vanity item. Slime mount ahhnilates EoC, ya just gotta jump on him!
Fun, a very fun and easy boss. It's a nice surprise when he randomly shows up.

I can't defeat this little idiot. Even with Solar Flare armor, meowmere and a 13-segment stardust dragon, HE WONT DIE!
This boss is so easy! All you need to do is click him with a copper shortsword and POOF, dead!
Not quite my favorite boss, but definitely up there because of a few simple things. He isn't the only thing you're worrying about here, far from it, and when you get far enough in, there can be over a dozen of him!
