India has a big chance. They are a sleeping giant, yet to be awaken
India is a fast rising economy. India is the largest importer of defense equipments... now, total indeginition phase is going on in India. ie. Indigenous aircraft carrier ins vikrant ( making India join the elite club of countries ie us, uk, France and soviet who can make their own aircraft carrier), hal tejas mk 2 ( fifth gen multirole combat aircraft), agni 5 ICBM ( again making India join elite club of nation having icbm).. long awaited ins vikramaditya will be inducted to Indian navy on 16 nov 2013 making India the only country in Asia to have 2 aircraft carrier. India is also excelling in space technology. India became the first country in Asia to successfully launch a rocket to mars. in the near future we will see indigenous aircraft carrier ins vikrant 2 (equivalent to Russian and British aircraft carrier), agni 6 icbm (range 10000+km) etc etc etc...
You do realize Spain, Turkey and Australia have made their own aircraft carriers
The coming century is really going to be more India centered the reasons are, 1) India has most young population in the world and will be for a long period. 2) Young population of any country is a huge boost for GDP of a country as it is the work force, when other country population are getting older, India is getting younger. 3) As India is a fast developing country it has potential that will be only going to increasing with the development of the country this all due to young population coming up in the future 3) In India most of the college student mainly opt for Engg or Med courses this gona create a huge technical talents in the country in field of Aero space, Nuclear, Medical, Aviation, Nano tec, Bio tec, Naval Engg etc, this technical Boom is going to happen soon and that gonna transform India into a world power house of work force and generat a lot of income for the country and GDP. 5) Indian space and miltary sector is going into transforming of privatation which gonna stop ...more
India becoming a superpower is debatable, though not impossible. I will say that India has made marvelous strides. It has one of the largest economies in the world that will continue to grow, it is governed by a functional democratic government, it has dismantled a centuries-old caste system (though there is still work to be done on the social divide), and it has lots of young people (the last one is extremely important). It has the second largest population in the world and a strong and modernizing military force. I applaud India for it's successes. It still needs work however. It is still lagging behind China in development and strategic viewpoint (India's own political elite have stated that India's inevitable rise is unrealistic). Millions of its citizens still live in poverty. There is also high inequality and entrenched corruption. Plus India is hemmed in by a vast ocean, the tallest mountains in the world, China, and Pakistan who just might end nuking India if a war breaks out. ...more
I live in the United States and we are lacking so many resources, but China has plenty of resources. They have the biggest army in the world and are very technologically advanced. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm pretty sure China will become a superpower.
China is going to be a second superpower. It's economy will soon at least equal that of the United States. It's still modernizing a military that is still a force to be reckoned with, it has an excellent and growing technological base, and the world's largest population. It still has a lot of problems such as pollution, human rights abuses, income inequality, it needs more democratic reforms, and it has to solve it's problems with Tibet and Taiwan. Plus it's surrounded on all sides by US-Allies, India, and Russia.
China's population is growing all the time, but rather than living in poverty (which exists, as it does in all countries, but isn't as common.), people are rich, middle class, poor, or working for the government. The government uses workers on low wages to help China become a superpower- it's working. It offers an alternative to the US and is different from it; the cruelty of poverty comes directly from the government, rather than corporations. The trade-off with this making poverty more common is that the poverty goes to use. The method is efficient, even if I disagree with it. It's got a huge military, and a huge economy. China is going to be the second world superpower.
The 20th Century may have been the 'American Century' but based on the well-sustained trajectory this one belongs to China. India has the second most potential capacity, but it's growth remains uneven and slow - while the country itself is deeply divided.
The United States will continue to be a superpower. It's got a large population that is continuing to grow. It is one of the largest countries in the world with abundant natural resources. It's bordered by neighbors that pose no threat to the north and south, while being bordered by oceans to the west and east. This pretty much makes invading the United States, a logistical nightmare and impossibility. It has the largest economy in the world with massive industrial and agricultural bases. Many of the largest corporations are home here and the USD is the dominant world currency. Plus American culture is pretty much everywhere. Not to mention we also have the most powerful military in the world with enough firepower to end the world fifteen times over.
Then why not you are using it. Waiting for the auspicious season. - Sumit22
I myself am Indian, and I've seen India with my own eyes. The country is sinking in poverty, over 838 million Indians(2/3 of the nation) are in poverty and approx. Half of those in poverty, don't have access to basic resources such as food, running water, electricity and shelter. India's poverty will never let it succeed, and also the prevailing Hindu majority and the current mix of Hinduism(national religion) and gov. Will ruin the country. Recently prime minister modi banned beef in the state of maharashtra in India. A lot of India's workforce is also Muslim and this has angered them, as long as religion rules government, poverty is there, India moght grow a little, but not to a world superpower. The country still wastes billions of dollars a year fighting Pakistan, when its own people are starving. China is also drowning in poverty and currently half of its pop. Is in poverty. Everything might be made in China but their lack of ability to speak English, which is a major setback in ...more
You are not Indian.. If you were you wouldn't have said that... You don't live in India I'm sure. The country which gave you birth... You opposed it. - dhruvchauhan1333
Sir, the United States is already a superpower. I am not hating though.
It has around 1.9 million manpower. 3rd best in infantry, but it has other extremely strong types of Armed Forces which can destroy a country in a matter of weeks or months.
It's naval fleet includes 97 battleships, 301 frigates, 65 destroyers, 12 aircraft carriers, and 0 patrol boats. (patrol boats are the least highest rank on ships in the Navy)
The amount of tanks is understandable, which is just over 7,500 tanks. Even though it has lower than the USSr, otherwise known as Russia, America's tanks are way more modern than Russian tanks.
Here we come to the big boys, NUKES! America has the most nukes with around 10,980. Russia has an Arsenal of 10,500 or so.
Finally, this is the part which the most spending is done, the Aircraft. The U.S. has more than 17,000 aircraft! With al of this combined, it is 4x stronger than India, about 1.5x stronger than China and Russia.
America was built on principles never before seen and still not seen in any other country in the world. It is the model of the future of the world and as long as the rest of the world does not offer the freedom and liberties that america is built upon, no country will ever match up to us. India, China, and the Soviet Union are drowning in poverty and corruption, they have many more issues to solve before becoming a superpower, and the European countries will just be there, but they wont overtake the US. The best brains that come to the US and those who wish to protect the idea of a free world will never let the US down, we might get hurt economically now and then, but that will never be enough to bring down the greatest nation on the face of this earth.

Yes it is fair to say that: the government is corrupt; 40% of the country is below the poverty line; it still has lots of terrorism - however it has the basis of becoming a superpower.
Pakistan is a country that is looked down by literally everyone and even some of Pakistan's own men and women, but inside Pakistanis are fighter, are brave, there's a sense of unity inside them. When earthquakes hit Pakistan, Kashmir what happened? Well on the negative side lots of people died, but on the positive everyone of those people affected stayed strong.
But still I bet most people think of this as inspirational rubbish - so I'll throw a few factors showing Pakistan having actual signs of development: Firstly, the the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor - prediction says that the project will result in the creation of upwards of 700,000 direct jobs between 2015 "2030, and add 2 to 2.5 percentage points to the country's annual economic growth and much more is yet to come from ...more
Pakistan can never be a Superpower, Pakistan is surrounded by 3 Powers - India, China, Iran, if Pakistan ever expands, It would really have a Hard Time. Second, Pakistan's Economy is not one of the Fastest Growing Economy, So just how can it be a Superpower like that. Third, Pakistanis are also facing problems in Terror Attacks as well. Fourth, Though China is it's allies, India has a Extremely Large Relation With India, Compared to Pakistan - US Relation, Pakistan and US isn't really a Big Allied Countries, And Afghanistan can just attack Pakistan from the West, Now Pakistan is surely cornered. Fifth, Some Pakistanis doesn't know how to Speak English and has Limited Internet which makes Pakistan, doesn't Process that Much.
China, India, Pakistan and Russia are the most possible future superpowers, especially China. China, India and Pakistan have very large populations and are developing quickly, and all have nuclear weapons. Turkey is also a possible superpower because of it's powerful economy and large population. Russia has a very powerful military as it is both high tech and large
Although of the sanctions that are back by the west, Russia has created the EAEU (Eurasian Economic Union) with Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and negations in process with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, signed FTA (Free trade agreement) with Vietnam, Singapore, Serbia and China) and CSTO (Collective Security Treaty Organisation) with Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan With this, it can maintain its geopolitical influences in post-soviet republics.
Even though of its declining population, it's still remain a major military power, with plans to develop military bases in Eritrea (negations in process) Venezuela (negations in process) Cuba, Vietnam (already done so) and Nicaragua.
With climate change on the rise, Russia will benefit from it by having the Arctic sea open to maritime trading routes with the country being the major power in the sea (renewing military bases on the coastline), a lot more what was inhospitable land will be turned into ...more
Has the discipline, ruthlessness and military needed to usurp any country. Besides the us. They could possibly get China and India together to commit treason to the US easily.
Russia already was a superpower for a long time, and if all the sanctions lay off, we can for sure become a superpower again. We have a better military than china or india. Sure theirs are bigger, but ours is better trained, and better equipped.
An increasing economy, a military more powerful than ever, as well as military action against ISIS has proven, that Russia is pretty much a country that can continue as a superpower in the 21. century.
It's just a matter of time before Russia increases its declining population as well as its production of next generation of weapons.
Japan because their robotic technology will rule the future.
Only if their AI are not infected by Computer Virus... if yes, then we're all dead - GirlyAnimeLover
Japan enjoys a very large economy, but it really suffers from population decline. 127 million people and only 54 million available manpower.
Now of course, 54 million people is a huge number, but it will rapidly decline to 50, 45, 40, 35 before its 2060. And this, of course also damages the economy really bad.
So, if Japan can manage to stabilize its population, rewrite their constitution for army expansion and war, and eventually develop weapons of mass destruction, they will sure become a superpower.
Japan. Their stable economy, heavily industrial base, and huge trade networks will expand and Japanese corporations will grow in power, probably exceeding American corporations in power.
Japan is a really powerful country and they can be a really good match against some countries. You've seen their greatest extent in WWII they took large plots of land from China and was a great match against the US so the US used the atomic bomb
Brazil are the new superpower! Should join grand Colombia or invade!
Brazil is an ethanol and oil superpower, a food superpower, a minerals superpower, it has developed its own space technology, manufactures its own weapons, makes its own cars, it has an enormous territory that can be populated by working migrants and on top of that is a very attractive country where most people are happy.
Brazil is rich, Brazil is on a crisis at the moment, but all the countries get into crisis someday, it's getting better quickly, it's a peaceful country, free, educated, industrialized, so yeah.
Most of brazilians are european descendants and preserved many good costumes of Europe, they already have huge industrial areas, advanced industrial tecnology, half of the citizens have an european behavior and european way of life and the country have most advanced universities in Latin America since many decades ago, Brazil is already in the deep way of the progress. Brazil is crisis at the moment, but prepare, because this country have a such huge future.
Status Quo changes so significantly and unexpectedly and in this game Turkish nation has a lot to offer on her bid to climb on the ladder of world power. After all do an objective historical analysis of Turks not only Ottoman Turks but 16 Turkish Empires of the history. Turks never been colonized unlike Indians and Chinese and they have genuine proudness of their ethnicity where colonized and enslaved nations can not truly grasp as it is nearly impossible for them to feel that. Turks have all the ingredients of becoming a super ruling nation again as they did in the past. Look at all the Muslim nations they are all literally in complete shambles and Turks although are Muslim do not even remotely resemble the rest of the Muslim nations. Current shifts in delicate power balances, regional strategic connections intertwined with the global plans would very well serve the Turkish quest to greatness once again and this was witnessed by the history time and again.
Turkey has a burgeoning economy, and ranks 17th in the world. Turkey also has the tenth strongest military in the world with the 9th most powerful army. Turkey has the second largest army in NATO, and Turkey is continuing ongoing high profile production of military equipment such as tanks, helicopters, missiles, ground defense systems, etc. Not to mention, Turkey is currently building a nuclear power plant which will also enable it to make nuclear weapons which is the only difference between the present day Turkish military and other militaries of countries that are currently superpowers. Turkey is also constructing an air craft carrier which will allow it to confront some of the most renowned navies in the world such as the American or Russian navies. Also, Turkey is in a logistically strategic location which enhances its potential to be a world superpower. Not to mention, once the boron mine in Niğde opens, the world will be greatly dependent on Turkey for this white gold of the ...more
As a turkish person, I don't think my country will be super power. I think my country will fall down after 10 years
Turkey is developing day by day with their president. They started to participate in middle east. Turkish alliances are very powerful and they don't have any chance to not support Turkey against ISIS. Turkey changed the strategy. They are side anymore but they develop their relations between whole countries such as Russia, China and Arabia. Turkey will be very valuable alliance in the future. East side and West side Should be aware of because Turkey has a very powerful army and developing economy and they will be the centre of the energy in the future. It will be like switzerland in the future.
Germany has one of the most vibrant economies within Europe, and with China's struggles parallel to those of India (pollution, overpopulation, etc. ) and Japan basically relies on China for its imports so that it can produce computers and other electronic devices. If China collapses, Japan goes with them.
Germany is very strong and practically owns the European Union. Also, they are very innovative and hard working, and most of all, they believe in themselves. Also, even with Russia and China, China will soon fall because the communist system does not work. Also, Russia has lots of civil unrest and Putin is trying to turn it into a Totalitarian State. Germanys one obstacle is the US
Germany has one of the most powerful economies in the world and is the only reason the EU stays afloat. Germany may not currently have nuclear power but could easily build them. Germany's military has the possibility of becoming the strongest in Europe. China is the current leading manufacturer in the world followed by America then Germany.
Weather it's a German empire or pure Reich they will become great again
As we head into the future, countries, especially India, China and USA are hungry for energy and resources. So countries with an abundance of natural resources and energy are those with the most potential to become a superpower, like Canada. Canada does not only have the energy, like petroleum and uranium, but also has food and fresh water. Canada has the largest reserve of fresh water in the world and great agricultural soil. Food and drinkable water are essential for life, but are not generally in abundance.
Global warming is noticeably having a large effect on our planet, but it might have the ability to shape up Canada into a world power. As global warming melts the north, there will be a large abundance of fresh water, farmland and natural resources (oil) available, adding to Canada's already sufficient amount of resources. Not only will global warming grant more resources for Canada, but also an northwest passage. This will be essential for international trade, which is ...more
You do realize that the USA is the worlds leading producer of natural gas right? It is also expected to become the worlds largest producer of crude oil by 2016. Your argument about the USA not having enough natural resources is invalid.
Canada's has the natural resources and potential to be an economic superpower. Canada also process tons of the worlds next gold, fresh water. The United States could end up paying Canada billions for this in the future. If Canada puts a hold on the northwest passage they'll be rich using it as an international trade route. Also If anything were to go wrong, Canada has one of the best situations in the world if not the best. This includes; Self sustaining food (more hen enough), and and loads of material (including gas, lumber, pot ash, uranium, the list goes on). And SPACE. As global warming kicks in more of Canada's arctic will melt turning into usable farm land making Canada even more of a recourse giant. All Canada needs is to do is make better decisions and get more people by possibly increasing the immigration limits. Long way to go but set up for success
With access to near unlimited natural and unnatural resources, and a well fortified network of trade to numerous nations worldwide, Canada would effectively become an economic superpower. Despite a small military, it has the technology and workforce to kickstart a massive military production if it had to. In the Second World War, Canada went from a small military to actually possessing the fifth largest navy at the time. And despite a population that is a little over 50 million, its immigration system is open to anyone as long as they have an education and are of working age. In other words, Canada only takes in the most intelligent and work-ready people. And because of Canada's use of peaceful measures and not force during times conflict, Canada is well respected, have few to zero enemies.
Geoffrey Hinton, Yoshua Bengio, and Richard Sutton. If these names are not familiar, then: artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and reinforcement learning.
Canada has the world's highest concentration of top AI researchers and the most recent AI revolution started here. With public and private investment in R&D, and immigration of the world's brightest minds, Canada will see at least 10 unicorns (billion dollar valuation) AI/tech companies in the next 5 years and at least 5 massive AI/tech companies to rival Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple in 10-15 years. Canada would have the intellectual critical mass to win the global race for general artificial intelligence.
Canada's AI advantage, its quantum computing research leadership, strength in soft power, global reputation and attractiveness to immigrants will make Canada a global leader, especially with America's recent retreat from multilateralism. Combined with nation building initiatives to grow the ...more
We need to get robotic manufacturing so we can challenge our rivals such as France Germany Spain and Italy, work with the commonwealth especially with Canada Australia New Zealand Singapore and India, try get free education and fast track immigration for high skilled labour and for essential university students, try replace hs2 with a hyperloop one, and try to get better technology such as biotechnology, artificial intelligence etc, green new deal, better health system and try remilitarise and get a better military complex then we are well on our way to being a superpower
Great Britain is a natural great power, its people have a natural tendency to stoicism and the ability to express channeled aggression that make the British people different from many others.
Britain only gave up its Empire due to the shortsightedness of its post war rulers and because of a paralyzing influence of racism that stopped Britain fully bringing its overseas subjects into the project that was the British Empire, quite simply the cost of preserving the Empire was to bring the benefits of the Empire to all within it.
The only thing that prevents Britain from becoming a great power once more is the limited imaginations and pettiness of its political class and the fact that the British elite classes have had one foot here and one foot in America for many decades.
If an energetic British political movement were to arise and unite the British people with a mixture of drive and direction I would not be surprised if Britain did not become far more powerful and ...more
Great Britain could be a superpower once again. We remain a centre of engineering and research- with the fastest developing tertiary sector globally. Furthermore, London is the finicial Capitol of the world. Our main problem is our aging population and hence lack of. However this can be solved through the commonwealth, which is becoming a more crucial part of British society. Great Britain is playing a long game and instead of investing in nuclear capabilities and military forces we have developed the greatest espionage network, one of the most sophisticated cyber systems and is one of the safest places on earth. We must remember that in the future, wars will be fought through computers and we are the only country equipped to deal with this threat whilst being allied to current superpowers and being the leading middle power!
Not right now. Every great empire/superpower eventually falls. And Britain did. But look at China, China was in Britain's stage since 1500 and only recently has become a world power. I say Europe will rise again. But not right now.
I do believe that Indonesia has the needed aspect to become a superpower in the future. We have an abundant of natural resources that none other country in the world has. Our population is the 4th biggest in the world. Our military is considered one of the best and the strongest. And there are just so many more.
The problem is, Indonesia is not that good in using all of those "Gifts" to it's advantage. Our natural resources are being exploited by other countries, just like the colonization era. Our population, it may be the biggest, but many of our people don't even get proper education, or education itself.
Don't even get me started of all of the problems we have now. It's just so frustrating seeing the people in charge using the citizen's money. Not for the greater good, but for their own benefit instead. And don't even get me started on the religious problems we're facing as of now, I'm sick and tired of seeing people arguing with one other about a problem that ...more
Our natural resources aren't the greatest in the world. In reality, Indonesia isn't as rich as it seems. However, if the government would invest in new types of energy, a superpower status would certainly be in our reach. An advanced agricultural technology may also be required. Spreading out the population from Java island may be a good action too. But most importantly, the military... PLEASE!
No other country as lucky as Indonesia, it has everything, natural resources, human resources(not too big nor small), geographically strategic location, democratic system, not too small economic base (it's already categorized as middle income country), young population, etc...
Boi, Indonesia is a Sleeping TIGER! Have one of the best military and Soldier in the world! And this is a non-block country, that mean this is a neutral country, why? Because of Peace!
With its Economy expected to be 5th in the world by 2050 Mexico is more than certainly going to be a Superpower. It is in fact only a matter of time before it catches up to Brazil economically. And once it does it will become the most powerful country in Latin America, the Second most powerful in the Americas and the Western Hemisphere.
Mexico has more than enough natural resources to make it to the top; they supply the US with agriculture and labor, two things that the US can not do without. Their industrialization is growing and fast. All they need to do is build their military up and get involved in the world stage. Mexico has a tendency to shy away from the world disputes, and they also don't put enough military pressure on the drug lords.
Mexico has vast resources and is a major economic producer on the global stage its only drawbacks are the American influence which limits Mexico's actions and the the most destructive drawback is the corruption within the Mexican Government with the later taken care of Mexico has a high chance of achieving greatness in the future
Mexico's economy is so bad that people are leaving the country and coming to America.
If North and South Korea reunified under the South Korean government it would have major implications for the balance of power in East Asia. Korea would easily become a major power. Cheap labor and massive amounts of natural resources from the North combined with advanced technology and currency from the South would have have an economy bigger than Japan's. Not to mention a excellent education system, the Korean Wave, and one of the most deadly militaries in the world.
If South and North Korea reunite, they would certainly overpower neighboring Japan. The reason being the North's vast supply of natural resources, and the South's advanced technology and superior economy.
North Korean and South Korean population combined would provide a powerful new workforce with double the land and natural resources from the north. A united Korea has the potential to become a major power and if their cards are played properly, as the number 1 country for asian pop culture, Korea could advance as a superpower.
I don't know, while I like Korea Japan has Nintendo, Godzilla, etc. At most it will be an equal influence to Japan. - Stalin
South Korea is better than North Korea (for obvious reasons) and is rising and a military power
Having 4th largest oil reserve and second largest gas reserve having lots of available areas like mountains and desserts for production of green energies from hydrothermal, solar and wind turbines, having acess to caspian and Persian gulf with a new idea about development of a huge canal called Iran river connecting these 2 seas will change the trade globally and also it would increase the water resources within the country significantly making most of the country's non arable lands arable. This ancient country was rated one of the top 10 for having historical sites and even during the travel difficulties in the time of extreme sanctions it was receiving more than 3 milions tourists each year. The people of Iran as history shows are significantly patriotic as unlike all of their neighbors countries, they have never been colonized or annexed. They have a extreme love for education and art and most of them believe in absolute gender equality as more than 60% of university graduates are ...more
I think Iran has a great potential to be the next super power
If U like to know, Iran (Persia = land of decent people) is the first United States in the world. It was the first country that banned slavery thousand years age. In 1970 and 1980 Iran hit the 13th biggest economy. If the superpower like USA and British and Europe and Arab lobbies don't pose any new war on Iran, it will back to the power game as soon as it possible, and it will happen by a modernized face. It have already achieved the scientific milestones in 2015 and 1000 billion GDP PPP. The best thing about Iran that U like to know is that it is not the Islamic regime that holds it back, but the world unwillingness to let Iranian to get the most out of their potential and being the most sophisticated country in the region. But the good news is that Iranian young generation are the most peaceful and open-minded youth in the region and there are smallest chance that Iran wouldn't thrive to list of 10 powerhouse.
Historically, Persian empires, have always treated the client states/nations very fairly. Iran is the mother country for many states in its north, south, east and western frontiers. It is the natural reintegration of these states with their mother that makes Iran's reemergence as a superpower most likely.
The Crown of Commonwealth is about to be restored.
Poland has one of the best education systems in the world and managed to achieve this in 12 years and in 2000 education was way below the world average not to mention its economy kept growing non stop during the European recession and in fact it was the only country with a growing economy not to mention polish people are extremely nationalistic and have to advance militarily and economically since Putins looking to take some real estate
Top 10 education system, geopolitical location in central-western Europe (yes, check where Europe's midpoint is) that is an advantage in 21st century, a century of trade, ecclectic and exciting culture, great English skills (English Proficiency Index), very peaceful (World Peace Index), low levels of corruption (Transparency International Corruption Perception Index), high globalisation (Globalization Index), top quality of the media (Reporters Without Borders Press Freedom Index), very high development (Human Development Index)...
Perhaps not enough to become a superpower but enough to become a power. Oh, wait! Poland is a regional power already!
Poland could have become a superpower. But most of the Polish people live in Britain now.
The spread of multiculturalism and unreasonable immigration are becoming a heavy weight for many Europeans country. French assimilation and blind color and ethnic policy encourage the integration of the new comer. The others tend to look the same.
European Union promote provincialism to enforce its future federalist sate. Europe nation state are cracking up everywhere except in France. Britain with Scotland, Cataluna in Spain, "Liga" that is about to cut Italy in half. The centralized state in France turn into it favor.
In addition to, France position in the 21 century look the same of its golden age XVII century. A Europe divided and prominent population. In 30 years France is the most populated country. Germans are getting old and it will impact drastically on its economy. France has a "rendez vous" with history.
For all I know, France has the best engineers and a certain talent for mathematics. It is the third country that have the most company in the Global ...more
Actually France is better that what we think about it, for instance France is Europe's most innovative nation and the third in the world (Bloomberg Reuters), behind United States and Japan as usual, but before Germany 4th and South Korea 5th. Sometimes France does not like to spread too much its good figures, French have this 'to keep a low profile' way to be.
France can be superpower country in the world
Whys France is the last one, is this list up side down?
I can totally see Israel becoming a superpower. Since it is surrounded by Enemies, Israel has to have a powerful military. Its got a badass military already. Eventually, with the help of the U.S., Israel will probably take control of Syria, Saudi Arabia and all of its enemies to create a vast empire! It may be a small nation, but they are used to going to war and will remain a great power if they don't become a superpower.
It is an occupied land and it does not have the necessary surface, nor the population. Israel is the land of crimes against humanity, and It will go out of existence in around 20 years from now. So it is stupid to even consider these thieves to be superpower. They cannot even be considered as an ordinary country.
It has one of the best air force. At the edge in cyber and agriculture. At the top class of the intelligence some say even no. 1 it it. It has plenty of atom and hydrogen bombs. And the best thing in Israel is innovation and technologies. Israel was rated no.2 in both research papers and patents per capita. The amount of new nanotechnology in Israel is rated number 1. Israel invents many technologies that all countries want them. Even USA, European countries. And let alone Asians like India and African countries. To me, resources don't count. Look at the Arabs they have plenty of resources but third world countries. What that matters is brains and technologies. You can have plenty of air planes but all of them can be vulnerable to backlash attack. But one super advanced airplane or drone that Israel has can't be attacked. So this shows you that quality outperforms quantity. And Israel is always the edge of technology.
Israel is a potential superpower of the future. Jerusalem is it's capital and is pretty much regarded as one of the holiest cities on Earth. Thanks to a well-trained, well-equipped, and battle-experienced military that has been destroying its enemies since it's foundation, Israel will continue to curb-stomp anyone in the Middle East that's a threat. Not to mention they also have excellent "insurance". It has the most advanced economy in the region along with a high-quality education system. Not to mention advanced technology and even now rapid economic development. Plus it's got the backing of the United States, currently the sole superpower. Won't be surprised if an Israeli Hegemony comes into existence.
Australia has no land borders, massive amounts of resources and vast room for expansion within its own boarders. Australia has currently powerful allies which it can rely on for military support whilst it quietly builds. Key weaknesses in population size and large scale manufacturing ability must be rectified however. Australia's have proven to be very resourceful and inventive in the past and anyone who looks past the great southern land as a possible world power ( it already punches far above it weight! ) is a fool... Australia teamed with NZ for a future world super power! And let there be beer and meat pies for everyone!
Australia has a high potential, large geographically, abundant natural resources and newer infrastructure that is turning largely towards sustainability. There are many perks to being a young country. It is well located with ties to the UK, the US as well as across south east Asia. Culturally we have progressed far in the last ten years in finding a stronger national identity and as the years progress I believe Australia will flourish. Although I would say that although it is possible for Australia to become a Superpower, it would require a change in stance in global politics as we traditionally opt for co-operation rather than leadership. Australia could certainly be one of the first majorly Soft Power based Superpowers in the future.
This might make no sense, might not have to do with anything with this and might be funny, but I think Australia will because it is my country & All the dangerous animals will attack the hell out of you! Expect for the Japanese & Australians
Australia has some of the largest deposits of natural resources in the world. Along with this, they have a strong economy with a stable parliament behind it. Australia also has strong allies with other, powerful nations such as the United Kingdom and the United States as well as increasing trade links with China. As a result of this, Australia can be certainly be seen as a possible superpower in the near future.
The Swedish Military has the greatest opportunity to become a world power, because it is not limited by the many redundancies a country would receive in Nato, And the Swedish people have the willpower to strive for more power, unlike the U.S. and other Natori powers whof let there military whittle and rot away over time. Sweden also has little poverty unlike India, China, Russia, and Turkey.
If anything from The Norway above, Sweden is more likely than Norway, DUe to Sweden's Military Is the strongest one in Nordics.
Britain sucks they robbed the world
The UK and its commonwealth could easily take on almost anyone and win, it has public healthcare, 6th best education system, best special forces and massive global influence.
Great Britain is the best country in the world!
The empire that peaked too early
The Philippines has a lot of potential. It has a lot of natural resources: oil, gold, iron, wood, et cetera. With the invention of the salt lamp by a Filipino, the nation can use the thing it is most abundant in for electricity: salt water. If war ever starts between the Southeast Asian nations and China, the Philippines has a strong ally in the USA. The Philippines has a decent army. Its culture is now being recognized around the world and more and more tourists are coming to the country because of its breathtaking tourist attractions: ancient rice terraces, almost perfect cone-shape volcanoes, white beaches, rivers with water so clear that you can see its very bottom, elegant churches, towns with Spanish-style classical architecture and an abandoned island with nothing more than an abandoned arsenal. It has a rising economy and is fairly successful, considering that it has only been only around for 69 years since independence from the USA and it is extremely in debt since Marcos' ...more
I believe the Philippines has a different approach to being a "Super Power". It won't be through economic and military might but by its greatest weapon... Women. A lot of guys from all over the world come over to the Philippines to the women, some order the women online, some go here to fall in love and bring back their women to they're home country. I'm not just talking about white guys. Asian guys too. Japanese, Chinese, Korean. They all come to the Philippines for the ladies. I've never been to a country without either a Filipino or a Filipino hybrid. Never. To be fair, the ladies are HOT HOT HOT. The Philippines is only 1 of 3 countries to win all 4 major beauty pageants and they did it in record time (just 3 years). There's a reason why they win all them beauty contests. The Philippines will conquer the world by mixing their genes with every person and people in the world.
Philippines will Rise Soon, Back in the Old Days, When Manila was Rich and Philippines was a success and now people believed that the Past goes over again and again, As soon as 2035 came, Philippines has already managed to be a Superpower and will Solve its Crisis, I also believed that if Philippines never fell, Philippines would be like Japan, Germany, Turkey and Korea which are successful countries
We have a lot of oil, gold, chrome, and iron deposits in our territory. We just don't mine them to protect mother nature. Get ready if we will use our resources wisely!
Bangladesh can be a superpower thanks to its large population, fertile land, increasing manufacturing growth and low wages as well as the development of strong services sector. The wider Bengali population in West Bengal and the Northeast can increase Bangladesh's leverage and trade and relations with China can make it a superpower
Bangladesh has vast amount of resources and huge work force, just the government needs to be corruption-free and wise enough to use these in the country's own favor. Bangladesh has the potential of becoming an economic superpower, but it will take time and undergo a lot of hardship.
Bangladesh is a country with huge young population where 60% of the them are youth and most importantly this nation has different religion where 90% of them practice Muslims. Bangladesh is a moderate Muslim country where there is no conflicts between the religions.
The people of Bangladesh can do anything for their motherland...
It has stayed neutral for so long its pop never died they have billions they can fight china and win
Together with Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland, Norway will form Scandinavia and Oslo will be the capital. This proud Viking nation will have natural resources, fish, smart people, beauty and industries. It will be the only self sufficent country in Europe and the worlds 7:th largest country.
Cause its the best country on earth considering GDP, HDI, Employment; etc together and the world will search for the good nations, therefore it will unite Scandinavia to one country, dominate EU instead of Germany and with weakened countries on the other parts of the planets:
THIS IS THE NEXT SUPERPOWER!
