Best Animated Batman Movies
The only animated Batman film to see release in theaters, this film presented an introduction to the Batman and Joker we know today. Not only did it boast great animation and stellar voice acting (who can forget Mark Hamill's iconic Joker laugh?!), but it also gave us one of the best Batman stories to date. It also spawned the incredible animated series. This is my favorite animated Batman movie!
I think this is better than Under the Red Hood. Mark Hamill? I mean, come on! This movie is unforgettable. Put this at number one.
Such a powerful film. But the fact that it's not even a Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill movie just didn't work for me. That said, this film is great. Based on the Death in the Family novel, it's a fantastic adaptation. Jensen Ackles really saved this movie for me. That's awesome.
Really good film. Fantastic plot, very interesting characters, great voice acting, and awesome animation. Also, Black Mask finally got a role in a Batman film, which is an entertaining treat.
The greatest animated superhero flick of all time!
I love this movie more than ever. The scene with Batman and Batgirl is unnecessary, but other than that, it was pretty good.
This movie kinda deserves a break from all the hatred. Yes, the Batgirl side story isn't that great, but the rest is actually what I love.
I just saw it, and it was amazing. Yes! This deserves to be number one.
I saw parts 1 and 2. Brilliant adaptation, but Batman looks fat. I know this is based on Frank Miller's classic story, but still. I mean, Batman sure is grumpy too, but he's just too fat. I think this is where Ben Affleck's Batman came from, except his was a little thinner. Even though he's fat, the story is so interesting. Go watch it. And yes, I consider this the 4th best Batman animated film, but that's only my opinion.
This great adaptation of the Frank Miller classic portrays the great story, and its art style matches the tone of the comic perfectly.
Not just a great animated film, but a great film overall! Great twists and turns, great action, and well-paced. I love how it connected Batman and Batman Beyond. I show this movie to a lot of people.
This is the Batman animated film that should've also been in theaters. I love the story and the animation a lot! This is amazing!
This film was good. The show it's based on is underrated.
Honestly, this is hands down the best of the Damian Wayne trilogy. I suggest you go and see it for yourself.
The best of the Damian Wayne trilogy.
The Batman 1966 TV show is the greatest entertainment ever created, along with Get Smart and Knight Rider. This is a must-have, plus Batman vs. Two-Face and the gorgeous 60s vibe of the Batman 1966 movie.
A lot of fun. Adam West was awesome, and the villains were really funny. Plus, the Bat-Dance is a delight.
Every Batman fan should have this, the Two-Face one, the original 1966 movie, and the most entertaining TV series ever - the Batman 1966 TV show.
I'm surprised that this film wasn't already on the list. It was good.
I did enjoy it, but to be honest, I would like to see more about Damian Wayne's story and his role within the Teen Titans. This feels like the best Teen Titans story ever made. My favorite part is where Damian fought his own grandfather (aka Ra's Al Ghul) in hell. Brilliant!
I love those teens together! Raven is cute, and so is Starfire!
The Newcomers
Even though I haven't seen this one or Return of the Caped Crusaders, I do admit that it brings back the 1960s silliness, which is cool. Even though Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are my favorite Batman and Joker, I'm surprised that they brought back Adam West to do Batman again. I'm so sad that this is his last movie as Batman before he died. We will miss you, Adam West.
This film should be much higher. It's amazing. I love Adam West as Batman. He was the best.
It was alright, but the relationship between Deadshot and Harley Quinn just made it look bad. It's not a good relationship, and it doesn't save the movie at all. But hey, it's not that bad. Still, at least Conroy's Batman saved the film. And Troy Baker did well. That's really about it.
This was so cool! Just the idea that Batman had a son made me want to watch it. Damian impressed me with his fighting skills, and Talia has a great part! It is a great movie and should be ranked higher.
This film is not bad. I think this is definitely better than Batman vs. Robin.
I actually like this film. It was cool.
Good mix of dark tones and light tones. It isn't too scary or too corny.
