Top 10 Best Movie Slashers
Fear shows up in many forms, but few are as memorable as the silent figure stepping from the shadows with terrible intent. As you watch these films, you meet killers who stalk quiet neighborhoods, invade lonely campsites, and turn ordinary places into hunting grounds. Each one forces you to sit a little straighter in your seat and wonder who might be standing just out of sight.
You recognize them by their masks, their methods, and the trail of panic they leave behind. Spend enough time with these legends of horror and you start checking the dark corners of your own hallway before turning off the lights.

The literal personification of evil itself. He is a force of nature. He can't be stopped. He's silent and menacing, with no regard to morality or humanity. He is the thing all horror movie slashers should be. He's simple, pure, uncorrupted evil and fear. He can't die. But is he really even alive? There is no man behind the mask. Nothing lies behind that mask, just another mask that hides the true evil Michael is. Jason, Freddy, John Kramer, and Ghostface, they all pale in comparison to the original master of horror. The Shape is the undisputed King of Slasher films.
Damn, I heard a noise in my hallway after watching the movie. I couldn't fall asleep for the next hour. Scary as hell. He's not mental. He's not crazy.
He's evil.

Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th)
Jason Voorhees is a fictional character from the Friday the 13th horror film series. He first appeared in the original 1980 movie as the young son of the killer, Mrs. Voorhees. Over the course of the series, Jason became the central antagonist, known for wearing a hockey mask.
This demented, deformed degenerate is one of the slasher genre's most relentless killers. He shows virtually no humanity and is merely a killing machine beyond our understanding.
He is an unkillable, relentless murdering machine from hell. He killed over 200 people in so many creative and enjoyable ways. Hearing his little chant scared the hell out of me.

Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street)
Fred "Freddy" Krueger is the primary antagonist in the A Nightmare on Elm Street film series. He first appeared in the original film directed by Wes Craven in 1984. Freddy is known for his burned face, red-and-green striped sweater, and his glove with razor-sharp blades.
Master of puns, one-liners, and the dream realm, Freddy is a terrifying demon who makes and plays the game by his own rules. He is also one of the most dynamic killers due to his witty and charismatic personality, which is fueled by dark humor and toying with his victims.
Freddy, because everyone here has to dream sometime or fall asleep. But Myers is really good anyway. But he's no Freddy!
I think Freddy Krueger should be first.
