Top Ten Best Christian Bale Movies
Christian Bale is my favorite actor. My favorite performance of his is in The Fighter, but this is my favorite movie of all time. So yes, I voted for this.
Although I love both The Dark Knight and The Machinist at the same level, The Dark Knight always steals the show because of Heath Ledger. But second vote to The Machinist.
The acting by both Christian Bale and Heath Ledger is excellent, and the direction is very well done. I rate this movie 9.6/10.
The Dark Knight was good, but the reason a lot of people voted for it is because of the Joker or just the movie itself. But we're talking about his performances. He was really good in The Dark Knight, but American Psycho shows how diverse and amazing he can really be.
It's hard to narrow it down to one! This one and The Machinist are two movies that will blow your mind. But in American Psycho, you laugh, you cringe, you just thoroughly enjoy yourself.
He runs around naked with a chainsaw covered in blood. That is why this movie kicks ass. I would talk more about how great this movie is, but I have to go return some videotapes.
It's an unbelievably great ending to the legend of THE DARK KNIGHT Trilogy, and it's loaded with an amazingly talented cast. It's always a must-see for anyone who hasn't watched it, and I still enjoy it even years later. Christian Bale is perfectly awesome as BATMAN. Most importantly, HEATH LEDGER! He is absolutely phenomenal as THE JOKER. Christian Bale IS THE BEST BATMAN, hands down. FINAL!
I think it's the best part of Batman. A perfect ending to a great legend. He is my favorite hero. Better than Iron Man, Superman, and Captain America.
Great movie. Christian Bale portrays Batman perfectly in this first installment of Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy.
The first and best movie I saw. I watched it out of boredom, but seeing it made me interested. He truly embodies the Bat.
I just love this movie. After watching it, Bruce Wayne became my favorite character. I love him so much now. He is the best.
Best movie by Christian Bale and best movie by Christopher Nolan. People are ignorant. That's why they might not have liked this movie. It's the best movie and the most underrated.
Most underrated movie. Better than all other Christian Bale movies. Loved his and Hugh Jackman's acting. My all-time favorite.
It's a fantastic movie. The entire plot is just incredible.
It is the movie where you will find the ultimate extent of an actor's dedication and hard work. At the end, it will surely give you enough reasons to be a big fan of Christian Bale. Awesome movie, awesome acting, awesome storyline. A big applause for this tremendous actor.
This movie is the reason I became a fan of Christian Bale.
He absolutely lives the character Dicky Eklund in this movie. Beats American Psycho just slightly for me as his best performance yet.
Fighting is everything. Fight for yourself and for others.
Absolutely amazing. His best role yet. He is so great in this role, it looks like he's going to win the Oscar.
Christian Bale is superb as John Connor. He had a great physique in this movie. Sam Worthington is good as well.
Great sci-fi action with a terrific Christian Bale. Well-made and well-acted. Supremely underrated.
I absolutely loved the feeling of this movie. The action was awesome, so I loved it.
Not only is it one of Christian Bale's best movies, but it's also one of the best westerns and one of the best remakes ever made. Excellent soundtrack, direction, and performances. Really intense and exciting movie.
Not his best, but another great performance from one of the best actors out there. Not to mention the rest of the cast was amazing too.
Super underrated. Fantastic performance.
I can't believe this wasn't even on the list before! This was one of Christian Bale's first movies, and the plot is so touching, especially during the kamikaze pilot scenes. Bale was really young when this was filmed, and he still performed so well. This movie is so underrated and touching.
The story revolves around a British boy living in the white part of town in China who was sheltered from everything for most of his life. Suddenly, he sees the ugly truth during a war and finds himself a prisoner of war, separated from his parents. He learns to live with the new way of life, relying on a middle-aged, unreliable American man to father him, at least at first.
Eventually, he learns to take care of himself, but the camp is so cruel, and he feels bad about taking advantage of his old life. He befriends a Japanese child on the other side of the fence who is the child of the very people who imprisoned him. Later, that boy becomes a kamikaze soldier, breaking the boy's heart.
Later, the camp is attacked by American fighters. The Japanese boy disobeys his kamikaze orders and fights against his own people for his new friend. It's very touching.
I won't reveal the end. Watch the movie and find out for yourself the magically heartbreaking, perfect ending to this Steven Spielberg hidden gem.
I grew up watching this movie, and I fell in love with Christian (Laurie). I got so mad at Jo for not marrying him! Why did Amy take him?
He is a masterpiece. His acting was wonderful. He played the role of a father excellently.
Very good movie. It should be in the top 5.
