Megamind is a DreamWorks media franchise that follows the adventures of a supervillain named Megamind who suddenly gets a chance to become a hero for a change.

1. Megamind

   

   Megamind is a blue-skinned alien genius who grows up in prison after being sent away from his dying home world as a baby. He becomes Metro City's longtime supervillain, relying on inventions, disguises, and elaborate schemes rather than brute strength. After apparently defeating Metro Man, he discovers that winning means little without purpose and gradually changes into a true hero.

   Gigantic blue head. It's amazing if you ask me.

   Megamind is my favorite!

2. Metro Man

   

   Metro Man is the celebrated defender of Metro City, gifted with flight, super strength, speed, and near invulnerability. He and Megamind arrive on Earth at the same time, but Metro Man is raised in luxury and public admiration. He secretly gives up the superhero life after faking his death because he no longer wants to live under constant expectation.

3. Tighten

   

   Tighten is Hal Stewart after he receives superpowers from Megamind's serum, though the powers were originally meant for someone else. Before that transformation, Hal is an insecure cameraman who obsesses over Roxanne and resents being overlooked. Once empowered, he becomes dangerous because he wants admiration and control without the responsibility that real heroism requires.

4. Minion

   

   Minion is Megamind's loyal companion, a fish-like creature who lives inside a robotic gorilla-shaped suit for most of the story. He helps carry out plans, operates gadgets, and often acts as the voice of reason when Megamind loses focus. Even when he feels unappreciated, he remains deeply devoted and plays a major role in helping Megamind become better.
