Top 10 Adult Male Singers with Boy-ish Voices

I mean adult male singers who are, say, older than 20, but whose voices sound as if they didn't mature fully and will never sound very manly. This effect of a "boy-ish voice" is usually created by singers with high, thin voices or by those who often use falsetto.

Hammerfall's singer Joacim Cans once said about falsetto, "You just have to find your 'child' voice and do exercises using that voice."

Similarly, some singers likely find and use their pre-puberty voices even when they aren't singing in falsetto.

Lastly, people's voices are genetically encoded in their DNA.

A boy-ish voice doesn't mean the singer is bad, and it doesn't mean boy-ish voices can't sound good. There are three types of singers in this category:

    He's an example of a good sounding boy-ish voice that has enough power. Michael Kiske is a great metal singer who often sounds like a kid hitting high notes, but he does it incredibly well.
