Ray Davies had to bear the administrative load for The Kinks due to their terrible management and horrible contracts. Meanwhile, Dave was your typical "sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll" type, so Ray probably felt resentful for "carrying" him.
It has been said that Dave is the nicer person, while Ray has the more difficult personality. But Ray is the genius behind the band's success, without whom Dave, despite being a solid guitarist, wouldn't have achieved lasting fame. Mick Avory sided with Ray, knowing "where his bread was buttered."
Brothers Ray and Dave Davies have hated each other since childhood, and this animosity may never end. Dave once said, "I think Ray has only been happy for three years of his life … the three before I was born."
The two attempted to reunite for Dave's 50th birthday, but it was unsuccessful. According to Dave, Ray made it all about himself: "Just as I was about to cut the cake, Ray jumped on the table and made a speech about how wonderful he was, and then stamped on the cake."

According to Guns N' Roses's road manager in the early '90s, the conflict started because of Michael Jackson.

At least they reunited one more time.

Team 1: Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley

Team 2: Ace Frehley and Peter Criss
In his 2014 autobiography, Stanley claimed that Frehley and Criss were anti-Semitic (Stanley and Simmons are Jewish). He also accused Frehley of collecting Nazi memorabilia and Criss of being racist against Asians.
However, tensions also existed within "Team 1," as Stanley called Simmons an egomaniac who wasn't actually a marketing genius. But these conflicts pale in comparison to accusations like "you are basically Nazis."

Elvis Costello & the Attractions
Ok, this may be bending the rules since the Attractions were basically his backing band, but the fans treat them almost as a full group anyway. Bruce Thomas, the bassist, has had long-standing contempt for Elvis Costello. This was the main reason why they split up in 1986 and again ten years later.
