You see, it's a late night for me, and I'm surfing the web. I click "Best Progressive Rock Bands Of All Time" and ok, Pink Floyd was 1st. But right after them, the actual best progressive rock band of all time.
And so, I scroll down to look for other lists, and apparently every single list that includes "Best" in its title has the rush logo. They have a huge fanbase. For a good reason. Good bands should have massive fanbases. And this one made "good" bad.

Best band ever in my opinion. There are a lot of great bands around for a period time. RUSH is a part of my life since 1976 and will be till I die, I think.
It is amazing that how different every album is from previous albums, music from RUSH always touches me. Makes me happy, sometimes a few tears. Always emotion. Great musicianship, nice guys, great fans! Made a few friends for life through RUSH. Thanks for that as well!

They kept putting out a much different but still impressive album over the decades. The bottom line is the "art for art's sake" concept and also honing their musical skills in order to make it come alive.
&&&& Also a lot of people including me were looking for someone to take on the subject matter that no one seemed to dare to take on. But here you got Peart doing it with the greatest of finesse. This is what makes them the ultimate counterstereotype of rock and roll.
