Best Mushroomhead Songs

The Top Ten
  1. Solitare Unraveling

The stark contrast between the two vocalists' styles is stunning, and I don't even listen to metal! Very original and unique. I'd love to see another band with an excellent female vocalist try Johny Nothing's role so you could have pure melody versus hardcore vocals. What a concept! And the lyrics are cool. I haven't quite figured out the meaning yet, but I think that is intended.

First song I ever heard from them, still my favorite. Great music, awesome voice and lyrics, and great music video. Greatest industrial band, in my opinion.

  2. Sun Doesn't Rise

Reminds me of a fun time in metal. Many dislike the nĂ¼ metal revolution, but as an old-school thrash metalhead, I love it! It was something new and fresh, inviting in some interesting influences. Not all metal has to sound exactly the same. But, of course, that's just my opinion.

Simply the best Mushroomhead song. Best vocals, best guitar, best everything. J Mann for the win!

  3. Qwerty

Newest and, dare I say, best Mushroomhead song. Coming from an Ohioan and long-time fan who has had the privilege of seeing them live.

Unfortunately, there are no songs like this anywhere.

    Decorations and performance are marvelous.

  4. Simple Survival

Probably their best song. I don't know how you all could miss out on this one. This one is epic. This song has an extraordinary feel.

Melodic yet screamo. By far Mushroomhead's best song. Waylon, in my opinion, is better than J Mann.

  5. Bwomp

I like the part when J Mann raps. It sounds awesome. My top 5 would be: 5. Before I Die, 4. Conflict - The Argument Goes On, 3. Sun Doesn't Rise, 2. Solitaire Unraveling, 1. Bwomp.

The rap bit in this song is simply the best. Jason Popson should do more rap songs.

I'm not even a fan of rap music, but this song's awesome.

  6. Kill Tomorrow

Kill Tomorrow is just epic. I mean, the vocals that J Mann does are just awesome, and the drumming is also amazing as well. The aggressive manner in which it is written is just fantastical!

  7. 43

Beautiful industrial song. My favorite because of the creepy, typical Mushroomhead intro and dark lyrics.

This song gets me pumped up when I lift, and simply just because Mushroomhead is AWESOME.

  8. These Filthy Hands

Are you serious? I had to add this to the list? Get this one up there!

This is the Mushroomhead song. Can't believe this is at the bottom of the list.

  9. The Wrist

  10. 12 Hundred

  11. The Newcomers
  12. ?

    UIOP (A Final Reprieve)

  13. ?

    Decomposition

  14. The Contenders
  15. Nowhere to Go

It's a tie between this and Our Own Way, which isn't on here for some reason.

By far my favorite. Best song by miles!

  16. Never Let It Go

This is by far their best song. J's aggressive vocals clashing with Jeff's soft melodic vocals sound absolutely brilliant, especially the way the ending was delivered.

  17. Save Us

How is Save Us not near number one? The live version is great, and I don't even know how you can not LOVE this song. The lyrics are fantastic, and everything about this song is great. I mean, this song should be at least, AT LEAST, in the top ten. God.

  18. We Are the Truth

Love it and the corresponding video. It should be way higher ranked here.

  19. Xeroxed

  20. The War Inside

  21. Your Soul Is Mine

This song was used for Saw VI. Such a creepy beginning and then such an amazing song afterward!

  22. Just Pretending

Wow, the chorus to this song is so good! The chorus is absolutely beast! Clearly Mushroomhead at their best! 11/10!

If you don't like Just Pretending... Go to the hospital!

Just Pretending is just awesome. 10/10!

  23. Mother Machine Gun

I love this song! Qwerty, Sun Doesn't Rise, Before I Die, and Mother Machine Gun are the best songs by this band.

  24. Out of My Mind

The riff of this song makes you want to get into the pit and mess some people up. If this song doesn't get you super amped up, then something is wrong with you.

Atrociously underrated in this selection. I'd easily give this one #1 on any Mushroomhead chart list. Perfect lyrics, entourage, and performance.

Having this song out of the top 5 I can almost understand, but out of the top 10, never.

  25. Eternal

Something about verse 2 and the guitar chugs... J Mann's vocals are a perfect complement also.

Can't believe this song is way down here.

  26. Crazy

  27. Before I Die

  28. Come On

This song makes me want to punch a fish. Really great song. Seriously, I want to fight when I hear this song.

Why wasn't this in the list? Come on.

  29. Devils Be Damned
