Top 10 Best Eminem Album-Closing Song Pairs

These are the best final two songs from Eminem's studio albums. They are the song duos that finish the album most smoothly or are simply two great tracks to close the project.

Skits are not included, only full songs.

The Top Ten
  1. "Under the Influence", "Criminal" - The Marshall Mathers LP

One of the catchiest Em hooks with a "dirty" cast that killed the track, followed by the chilling, brutal icon of a song that is "Criminal".

Can't end an album better than that.

  2. "Castle", "Arose" - Revival

A newly iconic duo of songs that purposely and magnificently blend into one big song.

  3. ""Till I Collapse", "My Dad's Gone Crazy" - The Eminem Show

The superpower of an anthem followed by an unorthodox, fun song with his daughter, Hailie, just works very well.

  4. "Headlights", "Evil Twin" - The Marshall Mathers LP2

A perfect apology song to his mother (with flawlessly fitting Nate Ruess vocals), followed by a tough but fun deep cut explaining that Eminem is still the best.

There isn't a different combo of songs ending the deluxe version of the album.

  5. "Bad Meets Evil", "Still Don't Give a F**k" - The Slim Shady LP

A silly, gritty, dark collab followed by a deep anthem that stands as one of his greatest ever songs.

Of course, this is for the original 20-track release of the album.

  6. "Crack a Bottle", "Underground" - Relapse

A closer that perfectly sums up the album and the general theme of the songs on it.

You can feel what Em was going through during the time he made this album in the songs.

  7. "Tobey", "Somebody Save Me" - The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)

On "Tobey", Em, Big Sean, and BabyTron share the mic and demonstrate, with versatile flows, how they're all GOATs over an eerie, intense beat.

The final song on the album, "Somebody Save Me", changes the mood quickly, with Em rapping about his dark times of addiction and his 2007 overdose, along with his apologies to his family. As the Slim Shady persona and theme of the majority of the album had already been put to rest earlier, this was a fitting ending to The Death of Slim Shady.

  8. "I Will", "Alfred - Outro" - Music To Be Murdered By

This album's second-to-last song was a beautiful, emotional collab with Don Toliver. It ended on a high note with "I Will", featuring Slaughterhouse's KXNG Crooked, Royce da 5'9", and Joell Ortiz, followed by Em roasting and asserting his position in the game.

"I Will" was followed by a perfectly creepy voice-over by Alfred Hitchcock, labeled "Alfred - Outro".

  9. "One Shot 2 Shot", "Encore/Curtains Down" - Encore

There are many songs from this album that could have closed it but would not have worked as well due to the quality of some tracks.

These two collabs are quite good and finish the album fairly well, especially Encore/Curtains Down.

  10. "You're Never Over", "Untitled" - Recovery

This combo would have been placed higher if Untitled were replaced with a stronger, more emotional song such as Not Afraid or Seduction.

Untitled is a good listen for a freestyle-type track, but it feels as though it belongs on an extended edition of the album, not closing out what is otherwise a great project. So the album finishes with a very good tribute song, but the two tracks maybe don't blend together so well.
