    I am so pissed off at the voters. This is an instant classic and one of the greatest songs of the modern era. Number 24? This has got to be the best-selling song of 2008 as well. The album sold 8 million copies that year, producing the largest number of digital downloads of any record.

    Viva la Vida is amazing, and shame on all of you for voting otherwise. Shame on you.

    There are only a handful of Katy Perry songs that I actively enjoy, and this is one of them.

  6. Lollipop - Lil' Wayne

    I usually don't like this mainstream stuff, but I admit I love this song. It's the "Thriller" of the 21st century.

    I miss the old Lil Wayne. At least he had a decent comeback in 2018.

  7. Disturbia - Rihanna

    Am I the only one who notices that when Rihanna says "Disturbia" in the chorus, it sounds like she's saying "DUSTURBILA"?

  8. The Day that Never Comes - Metallica

    What? The Day That Never Comes has more emotion and takes more talent than every piece of dirt in the top ten combined. Metallica STILL RULES!

    Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Lil Wayne, and 30 Seconds to Mars... Total crap. For that reason, Metallica gets my vote, as well as being a badass song.

    Uh, this is THE BEST song of 2008. So much better than the rest of the songs on this list.

    This is a really sweet song. I love how Panic! at the Disco can switch up their style and create good-sounding music.

    Not even the best P!ATD track from that album, but it's still cute enough to earn my vote.

    This is a little bit different from Panic.

    I know the meaning behind it now, but it's still a great song nonetheless.
