The reason I rate him this highly is that no matter how he's vocalizing: screaming or barking lyrics or just plain singing, he sounds great. His singing voice is nothing short of unique: varied, but you know who it is as soon as you hear it. Another merit is Way's amazing, charasmatic stage presence that you don't even have to see him live to know is apparent. Good on ya', Gerard!

Iero has been quite involved in the music scene: as singer in the band Pencey Prep, rhythm guitarist for aforementioned My Chemical Romance, lead screamer in the project LeATHERMOUTH, and much more; the varied musical talent right there has to get him some recognition. His style is very unique, involving a mixture of spoken word, violent screaming, and a sort of baleful crooning that betrays his truly angelic singing voice. You don't run into someone like this very often.

It's really a wonder this guy isn't more popular than he is. The only reason I don't put him any higher is because his style, though angelic, is not the most varied.
