Top 10 Music Artists Who Have Had Multiple Top 5 Hits but Never Had a Number One Hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S.
Sometimes, music artists peak near the top of the Billboard charts but just miss the number one spot. However, there are some artists who have multiple songs in the Top 5, yet none of them reached number one.
Basically, as long as an artist has had at least two Top 5 hits but no number ones, feel free to add them. This list includes the first 10 artists I could find that qualified, ranked in order of points (2nd place gave 4 points, 3rd place gave 3 points, 4th place gave 2 points, and 5th place gave 1 point). In the event of a tie, the artist I found first was given the higher position.
I also included a random fun fact for each artist to make the list a little more interesting.
