1 Taylor Swift
Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter.
She was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. She is best known for writing personal songs and for having won 11 Grammys. She became interested in country music when she was around 9 years old, and after watching a documentary about Faith Hill, Swift felt that she should go to Nashville to begin a country music career. She then signed a contract with RCA Records and began to write songs. Her album "Midnights" was released in October of last year and immediately became huge. It broke records such as surpassing Drake's Certified Lover Boy for most streamed album in a single day, selling almost a million copies in its first day, and all of the songs making it into the Billboard Hot 100 and thirteen songs in the Top 20 and for the first time it the Hot 100's history, 10 of her songs in the Top 10 at once.
She released her tenth album Midnights in October last year. Can't say I'm a huge fan of her but I really enjoyed that album
2 Harry Styles
Harry Edward Styles is an English singer and songwriter, known as a member of the boy band One Direction. He has since become well known as a solo artist with two albums; "Harry Styles" and "Fine Line". Another highly anticipated album from 2022 was Harry's House, and the single "As It Was" was pretty huge, staying at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for a while.
I think not only the best vocalist but he is also the best singer in the world
3 Rihanna
Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a Barbadian-American pop singer. Born in Saint Michael and raised in Bridgetown, she first entered the music industry by recording demo tapes under the direction of record producer Evan Rogers in 2003. She ultimately signed a recording contract with Def Jam Recordings after auditioning for its then-president, hip-hop producer and rapper Jay Z. Not too long ago, she came out with her first song in 6 years "Lift Me Up", which was in the Black Panther soundtrack, and I'd say it's one of her best songs.
4 K.S. Chithra

After they broke up in 2006, Beyonce pursued her solo career, creating smash hits such as "Crazy In Love", "Single Ladies", "Halo", "Partition", "Irreplaceable", "Drunk In Love", "Baby Boy", "Beautiful Liar", "7/11", and "Run The World (Girls)", and has since become one of the most influential performers and biggest celebrities of the 21st century. Renaissance was yet another highly anticipated album from this year, and while I wouldn't say I'm the biggest Beyonce fan ever, I did really enjoy the single "Break My Soul".

Abęl Makkonen Tesfaye, known professionally by his stage name The Weeknd, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on 16 February 1990 in Toronto, Ontario.

He has won 3 Grammy awards and 9 Juno Awards Dawn FM was the first big album of this year and spawning big singles like "Sacrifice" and "Out of Time". It's pretty easy to see why The Weeknd is one of the biggest artists right now.
7 Anthony Kiedis
Anthony Kiedis is an American singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers, which he has fronted since its inception in 1983. 2022 was a big year for RHCP and its fans as well; we get not one but TWO albums from them this year. Unlimited Love was pretty awesome, and while I didn't find Dream Canteen to be as good, it definitely had highlights like "Peace and Love".
8 Steve Lacy
2022 was a big year for Steve Lacy and his singles like "Bad Habit" and "Static" were pretty huge. I don't blame him for thinking that stinking TikTok ruined him though.
9 Alex Turner
Alexander David "Alex" Turner is an English musician. He is the lead vocalist, guitarist, and principal songwriter of the English rock band Arctic Monkeys. While I wouldn't say The Car is one of the best albums from Arctic Monkeys, there definitely were some highlights off of that album such as "Body Paint" and "There'd Better Be a Mirrorball", and Alex Turner's vocals still sound great too.
10 Brian Molko
From these choices I feel like you're including public opinion as well as your own opinion and I'm guessing based on the later he would be higher?
Placebo released their first album in 9 years, Never Let Me Go and it is their best album since 2006's Meds.
The Contenders

14 Patrick Stump
Patrick Martin Stumph, known professionally as Patrick Vaughn Stump, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, actor and music critic, best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, pianist and composer of Fall Out Boy, an American rock band from Wilmette, Illinois. Fall Out Boy may have just saved their careers with their single "Love from The Other Side", after their disastrous 2018 album Mania. While I am not the biggest fan of the second single "Heartbreak Feels So Good", I am very excited for their eighth studio album, which is coming out March 24.

In 2017, Evancho performed the U.S. national anthem at the presidential inauguration of Donald Trump and became the youngest person ever to perform a concert series at Café Carlyle. As an adult, has evolved into a more pop/folk sound and repertoire, and is writing some of her own material. Still the purest voice on the planet.
