We need people to die without anyone taking their place or increasing the population by producing more offspring. Believe it or not, homosexuals are a blessing. The more there are, the more likely the issue with overpopulation will be solved. They contribute to fixing this worldwide problem. So no, they are not the problem. If anything, the people who don't like them have a problem for not appreciating others as they are when they pose no harm and actually benefit society.
