Top Ten Songs of 2016 According to Laut. De

So, I just recently felt like retrospectively ranking my ten favorite songs of 2016 (it's end of January 2018 as I write this sentence), just for the fun of it. I then decided to compare it to other best lists of that year by music magazines - namely Rolling Stone, laut.de and Complex, who all have a different approach in reviewing and ranking music. Surprisingly, the list I liked best was laut.de's - also because it is the only list of the three that actually got something in common with my own ranking, even two tracks.
You probably know I am not that much of a fan of laut.de, especially of their negative reviews, which are often biased towards certain genres and artists, which is not the purpose of a critic website to me, which should be open for everything and judge it was good for their respective style and target group. Also, they sometimes have a rather pretentious taste in music and often they behave like "good" and "bad" are objective. But yeah, their positive reviews are often good, and they are arguably the best known German music review site, so yeah, they get points for that. So let's see what they picked as their top ten songs of 2016.
The Top Ten
1 Lazarus - David Bowie
2 Cold Little Heart - Michael Kiwanuka
3 Moth Into Flame - Metallica
4 I Need You - Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds
5 Sorceress - Opeth

7 Unterwegs - Fler & Sentino
8 Lang lebe der Tod - Casper, Blixa Bargeld, Dagobert & Sizarr
