Best Songs Involving the Audience

The Top Ten
1 Thunderstruck - AC/DC
2 We Will Rock You - Queen
3 The Bard's Song - Blind Guardian
4 Now I'm Here - Queen
5 Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag - Country Joe & the Fish
6 Valhalla - Blind Guardian

The crowd usually sings the chorus very enthusiastically and even continues after the end of the song - I watched a video where the crowd sang the chorus for about 4 minutes after the end (the version from the DVD "Imaginations through the looking glass")

7 The Star Spangled Banner - Jimi Hendrix
8 Seven Nation Army - The White Stripes
9 The Trooper - Iron Maiden
10 Baby Drives Me Crazy - Thin Lizzy

The Contenders
11 Somebody to Love - Queen

When George Michael performed "Somebody To Love" at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert, he managed to get the audience to sing the long, descending "love" near the end. Brian May's reaction is worth seeing.

George Michael performance was probably the best vocal delivery at this concert (along with Sir Elton John and Axl Rose)

12 Fear of the Dark - Iron Maiden
13 Bennie and the Jets - Elton John

Elton John says "Bennie", the crowd says "Bennie", plus Elton John often makes subtle or even drastic changes. Live, the piano solo in the middle of the song has been played in all sorts of variations, from very close to the original to wildly improvised and extended versions, such as the elaborate version during a Central Park concert in 1980 and another memorable take on it during the "Elton and his band" part of the show recorded for what would become Live in Australia in December 1986. (It can be seen on various Laserdisc releases of the show.) He has also been known to end the song in a wide range of styles, including classical, swing, boogie-woogie and even using the signature five-note phrase from John Williams ' score for Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

14 Ich Will - Rammstein
