301 I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor - Arctic Monkeys

why is this all the way at 341? its one of the best modern songs and pretty much sums up todays youth

Classic tune, classic Arctic Monkeys!

650! Are you kidding me! - neel9248

Um, this along with A Certain Romance is one of the top 100 songs ever made. And this is coming from a guy who listens to all types of music including Otis Redding, Nine Inch Nails, Justin Timberlake, Velvet Underground, Radiohead, Beatles, Led Z. , and Lorde.
It's a shame that this is so low and that 650 songs are above this. It's not the greatest song ever, What's Going On (Marvin Gaye) is, but this is an ATROCITY! Please vote this up, it brought back rock and roll to the 2000's.
Arctic Monkeys are like the 2nd coming of the Beatles, and the only reason you disagree with me is because you haven't heard all their material yet, please listen to them, they are the best today, along with Arcade Fire.

302 The Trooper - Iron Maiden

You'll take my life but I'll take yours too
You'll fire your musket but I'll run you through
So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand there's no turning back - htoutlaws2012

303 Paschendale - Iron Maiden

Can't stand to see garbage like Imagine and Smells Like Teen Spirit in the top five whilst this epic, but also poetic monster of a song is at #304. - IronSabbathPriest

304 All for Love - Bryan Adams
305 Titanium - David Guetta

This song is amazing. It was one of the best songs in that year. It has a meaningful message. Sia's vocals are FANTASTIC! David Guetta and Sia make GREAT songs! It should be at least in the 70-80

Amazing song! I don't understand, all my relatives hate this song and I'm the only one who likes it! Best song ever!

Best song ever taylor swift sucks

306 Everywhere I Go - Hollywood Undead V 2 Comments
307 The River - Bruce Springsteen

It's one of the most devastating songs I've ever heard. He builds the story beautifully until he completely breaks your heart with "now those memories come back to haunt me, they haunt me like a curse...is a dream a lie if it don't come true, or is it something worse? " The theme of the song, the lyrics, melody and the way Bruce feels it and sings it all make this song a masterpiece. This one deserves to be in top 30!

It is a really good song and should definitely be put on the list for people to vote for. It is a major part of his music career and should be shared throughout the world.

Less than David Guetta. No words. Just... sad.

308 Paradise - Coldplay

This song is so powerful. Best song ever.

Beautiful song with touching lyrics

Paradise, Viva la Vida, and We are the Champions are the best songs of all time

The Best Song Ever

309 You Know You're Right - Nirvana

Amazing song. Kurt's voice is great in this underrated masterpiece

This is the best Nirvana song! It shouldn't be this low!

This is definitely the best composition of any song ever. The song is sad, energetic, and awesome. This is the best voicework by Kurt Cobain ever

310 The Final Countdown - Europe

Just an amazing song, love it!

This song is awesome. Why is it so far from top 10?

It's the final countdown! - htoutlaws2012

319?
Come on, it should be at the top 10 people! - Yungstirjoey

311 Rap God - Eminem

How is this not higher up? Its built on pure talent

Another Eminem Track Hit The Charts And this time its Rap God one of the most Downloaded songs Ever with Eminems HiGh Speed Rap

I love this song. It's lyrical genius. Put this up against Jay-Z or Kanye West, it's not only the speed (I memorized it, it's at aprox. 4:25) but how it isn't the same lyrics repeated in every line. *cough* Nikki Minaj stupid ho *cough* *cough*

312 Purple Haze - The Jimi Hendrix Experience

Dude Hendrix is just like the greatest musician ever definitely top 10
right behind queen Zeppelin
- idso27

Hendrix, easily the greatest guitarist to live, he inspired, and revolutionized most genres, and musicians his music deserves to be at the very top of this top ten without a doubt, just listen to songs such as Along the Watchtower, Voodoo Chile, simply, mind blowing!

I'm pretty shocked that nothing by Hendrix made it into even the top 50. This song is probably one of his most iconic, and no one has mentioned it yet! This man was a genius! @

I firmly believe that All Along the Watchtower and Purple Haze both deserve a higher standing.

This song is awesome

313 Lateralus - Tool

Lateralus. The album, the song, sheer genius. Allow me to explain. You see in music each line is comprised of measures and these measures affect how the timing in the song occurs such as the pulses and the drum beats etc. Most songs stay in either 4/4, 2/4, or 8/8 time signature, meaning four beats for every measure, etc. This songs chorus, comprised of three lines, descends by a beat each line. Thus you have 9/8 for the first line, 8/8 for the second line, 7/8 for the final line. If you thought THAT was crazy, that is only the beginning. You see, Lateralus is the title track for Tool's 2001 album "Lateralus. " Now Lateralus in and of itself was a complex song, and most fans thought it a bit awkward the way the syllables were laid out in the verses. This song actually acts as a gateway to a re-structuring of the albums tracks for a "Holy Gift" (as it is known by their fanbase). You see on The Holy Gift version, each track leads perfectly and coherently into the ...more

The most technical band that I have ever listened to. There should be more tool on this list

314 Civil War - Guns N' Roses

Love this song, still get me through the end

Took me awhile to like the song, but now I do. - matty925

Civil War is arguably the greatest song in the history of mankind, I mean the song goes up and down, left and right High and Low it gets deppressing and optimistic, this song is followed by One from Metallica and Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, it is absoulotely amazing, wonderfully awesome, amazingly great, I think it's the perfect song, I'm a 14 year old Syrian kid from Damascus and I have almost listend and memorized every song in the top 100 list and I can assure you Civil War is the best one but I have to admit that because of the horriple civil war that's happening in Syria right now this song has effected me greatly and I may value it more than other people because it tells the story of my reality and so maybe I'm a little biased because the civil war in Syria does in fact feed the rich while it burrys the poor

315 Octavarium - Dream Theater

This must be higher. This song is a masterpiece! 24 minutes of pure musical genius, beauty, and harmony. (That was cheesy)

But seriously, Dream Theater might be a Metal band, which is why this song may not be well recognized, but it's a softer song, amazing singing, lyrics, and solos from literally every instrument. I get chills every time I hear this song. Must listen.

Seriously, everybody needs to listen to this song, it's indescribable - ryanrimmel

I wholeheartedly believe that this song at least deserves to be in the top 10. I understand why it isn't though, coming from a sub-genre (Progressive rock/metal) of a genre (Metal) that is already underrated and overlooked in the public eye. However, for those who truly wish to experience pure musical bliss/perfection, I heavily encourage to give this song a try so that hopefully you, like those who have already discovered it, might understand why this song is so great.

None of the songs above have anything on this. These are popular, but the true masterpieces are left in the dust. This is a perfect example. This song is the most amazing song in the history of life.

This is the Stairway To Heaven of the 21st century my god, 24 minutes of epicness and it's in 100? Are you nuts?
