141Aston Family Man Barrett

Responsible for a totally new style of drumming. - AKPickin

142Max Roach

Hello people, this man was maybe the greatest jazz drummer of all time, Buddy Rich was a banging hack compared to this man. If Buddy Rich is number 4, then then Max is number 3.

Watch Soul Sacrifice and marvel at how this kid could do what he did. Could it be that he was a great drummer?

Watch Santana at Woodstock. You cannot take your eyes off of Mike Shrieve.

Shrieve was only 17 when playing at Woodstock

145Don Brewer

GRAND FUNK RAILROAD JUST SEARCH YOU TUBE FOR INSIDE LOOKING OUT JUST LISTEN TO THE WHOLE SONG MAYBE THE GREATEST LIVE ROCK PERFORMANCE EVER, PERIOD. 1969, JUST 3 GUYS, NO TRICKS, JUST LIVE, RAW, POWERFUL. IT DONT GET MUCH BETTER THEN THIS

Just saw Don play with Bob Seger in Pittsburgh. At 63, he is a better drummer now than he was 40 years ago. No frills, just straight ahead, power drumming, without the theatrics of being part of the "New" GFR.

American Band is the holy grail of rock tunes... and Brewer is right there as the locomotive... Super solid, always driving the band... He is one of rock's greatest drummers...

Plays one of the top 5 drum solos of all time. He should be in the top 10 easily not only for his stick skills but vocal ability also.

146Elvin JonesElvin Ray Jones was an American jazz drummer of the post-bop era. He showed an interest in drums at a young age, watching the circus bands march by his family's home in Pontiac, Michigan.

The idea that he could keep up with the intellectual energy is amazing. The fact that he put a beat, rhythm and tempo to it is profound. Check him out on any of the classic quartet's pieces. - AKPickin

147Alan White

Allen White is by far the best drummer ever.

The drummer from Oasis. He is one of the best!

148Carmine Appice

When Vanilla Fudge hit the scene there was no American drummer who could drive an audience to a frenzy like he does in "You keep me hanging on". Probably not rated higher because good as they were, Vanilla Fudge was known more as a copy band.

Are you kidding john Bonham received some pointers from this guy!

Yay, Carmine Appice! From Vanilla Fudge to Blue murder, Appice rocks!

149Spencer Smith

He is in one of the BEST bands ever, and I feel like he is underrated because he's supposedly not as hot as Brendon Urie or Ryan Ross. That's not cool because when it comes to the music, the band would be nothing without him. What is a song without the beat of the drums? Their first album"A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" would be nothing without the drums. Spencer Smith deserves more recognition than he gets, and I'm going to let him have it.

150Dave Mackintosh

Best Double and Alternate Bass ever created... just astonishing

Fastest double bass drummer in the world no arguing with that

You guys have to actualy listen to him play and it is so sad about how much he is underrated, he should at least be in the top 30 or at least when he was with DragonForce.

151Eric CarrPaul Charles Caravello better known by his stage name Eric Carr, was an American musician who was the drummer for the rock band Kiss from 1980 to 1991. Caravello was selected as the new Kiss drummer after Peter Criss left, when he chose the stage name "Eric Carr" and took up the "Fox" persona.

What, Eric Carr is one of the greatest drummers I have ever seen. Saw him live in 84, and have also seen Neil Peart live too, and I gotta tell ya, Eric Carr impressed me much more. Neil Peart is just boring quite frankly, he uses all this equipment to make a range of different sound sure, but nothing beats Eric Carr's heavy rock n roll drumming. Simple but powerful. R.I.P my friend

How Can the fox is not in the list. He is one of the best drummer in the world. RIP... Eric Carr!

Eric is my all times favorite drummer and I think KISS would have been a lot better with him at the drumset today.R.I.P. eric Carr, The Fox of the drums!

152Kai

He is So cool he has such a unique drumming style

Kai from the Gazette is the best drummer I've ever seen! just check him out.

153Reni

It's insane that Reni is so far down the list. Any other drummer would need four arms to approach his genius.

Great drummer of great band city fan too

Best naturally talented drummer since Keith Moon

154Kenney JonesKenneth Thomas "Kenney" Jones is a veteran English musician and drummer best known for his work in the groups The Small Faces, The Faces and then The Who, after Keith Moon's death in 1978. Jones was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012 as a member of The Small Faces/Faces.

He did a heck of a job playing for The Who after Keith's death, and given the fact he played for The Small faces, he deserves a A+ rep!

155Ed Shaughnessy

The Tonight Show drummer. Loved the sideburns as well as the drumming.

156Michael Giles

21sr Century Schizoid Man and The Court of The Crimson King really show case how talented he is. The list seems like a popularity contest. Much better than Nick Mason and somehow Nick is extremely high.

Clearly nobody here has ever listened to 21st Century Schizoid Man...

157Jose Pasillas
158Tommy Aldridge

101? Are you kidding! Who came up with this list Ringo Starr? Tommy goes all the way back to Black Oak Arkansaw! He is a master of the double bass, along with spinning his sticks, when Tommy Lee was in Diapers! He should be in the top 10!

Pat Travers, Ozzy Osborne this guy can destroy a set of drums

Move him up! He's a hell of a drummer!

159Lenny White

Lenny the funkified ambidextrous drummer stylist. My greatest drummer... He drove the greatest supergroup in the world of Jazz RTF. Chick chose Lenny to compliment what he was doing and a monstergrew... Always placing music first... A powerful metronome in four zones with God controlling the puppet. Cue him up. I am already a believer.

160Narada Michael Walden

Yay, Narada! He is also one killer composer as well

His drumming was so far ahead of it's time, he should have been considered an extraterrestrial... Light years ahead of eveyone else, except maybe for Cobham... but they were both branches off the same tree... listen to The Mahavishnu Orchestra to see how both these men were just off the cuff!
