Top 10 Worst "Rock" Songs Who Nearly Destroyed Rock n Roll
Honestly I think this is an irrelevant entry even with inverted comma's I don't think anyone really considers this a rock song so it should not be on a list that is about rock music. I agree that it is a crap song though.
The only relevant "rock" song of 2018 along P!ATD's High Hopes, let alone the fact that Adam Levine himself said that rock music was irrelevant just by the lack of attention in the pop charts
Most songs on this list can be considered as pop rock and even then, they are barely rock. When was the last time Maroon 5 wrote a rock song? Oh wait, they aren’t rock.
Great, another artist who has an obsession with the smelly feet...
Another awful song, Believer was also really bad but I think this one is worse because it doesn't have any edge on it, is just the blandest Imagine Dragons could be
This is electro pop, not rock.
This song is irritating, but this considered rock?
What the hell is this Weezy? Stick to making rap songs please because this sounds just plain awful
Now this is a song for middle school bullies. Just a poor wannabe tough guy song. Not the worst by Limp Bizkit, but I still don’t like it.
Does this one even needs an explanation? Photograph is arguably the worst song in Nickelback's discography, and the fact that it was one of the most succesful rock songs of the decade tells how near was the genre from dying
Same reason as with Thunder, Imagine Dragons will easily become the next Nickelback in terms of blandness, a band that the charts would care of just to fill a space
This whole song and band is basically the prime example of why pop punk is to this date being one of the most mocked genres ever, and one good reason about why people wanted to forgot about rock in the mid 00s
One of the most boring songs from the 80s, and probably the main example of the cheesiest and blandest rock songs from the 80s who are still made fun of to this date
This one has more of a reputation of so bad it's good but it also doesn't help at all to give a better reputation to 80s rock music
This actually is the best song on here.
I'm counting this one and not Young and Menace by three reasons:
1) From all the post hiatus FOB singles this one is the worst, it doesn't even feel like an actual song and it feels more like a boring commercial tier song, just compare to any other FOB song that came out before and the difference will be big
2) As many flops SRNR had, at least they knew how to make some songs had energy and can be labeled as rock (Where Did the Party Go and the title track as main examples) this one just feels like anything other random band would have made
3) Young and Menace was like a D-tier hit who only lasted for like... one weekend
The only "rock" song that mattered in 2019, it isn't as bad as most of the songs from this list, but it just tells about how little the charts actually care not only for rock as a genre but also as the quality, the most positive thing I can say to this song is that at least is not Maroon 5 or Imagine Dragons
From all the post Viva La Vida Coldplay songs this one is the most boring out of them, even Adventures of a Lifetime or A Sky Full of Stars feel like better Coldplay songs, but this one is just like an extremely boring Maroon 5 softer track
This is great!
