Top 10 Best Lego Nexo Knights Characters
I can't believe I actually like this dorky, childish show. I've always loved medieval knights and stuff, and it's nice to see a (totally nonsensical) high-tech twist.
Though the dialogue can get really cringe-worthy, it is overall a cute show. All the characters have horribly obvious puns for names, but it's so bad it's good.
The show has nice animation, a fairly well-written plot, and decent character development. Oh, and both of the theme songs are awesome.

Clay Moorington
He was a great character overall, especially since he would fight for what's right. However, he also had too much focus on him. There was too much focus on him.
Despite all of this, he was a great character. Perhaps not the best, but at least he was something.
Clay is the best knight without a doubt. I especially love his huge character development in seasons 3 and 4, and I really can't wait to see where the show takes it in the future. He is the best! I can relate a lot to Clay, and my personality is a lot like his.
If anyone deserves to be the leader, it's Clay. He graduated at the top of his class, for goodness' sake. He trains day and night and has worked his entire life to be the best knight he can be. He's the uptight knight, and I absolutely love that. The show definitely needs someone like him.
Is there ever any doubt that he's the best?

Jestro
Jestro... I have to say he's my favorite. He was the most likely character to make me cry for sure. He just wanted to be wanted.
In the second season, he wants acceptance, but he doesn't get it from anybody. I liked his villain arc after all.
Right from the start, Jestro was a sympathetic character for me. I just really feel bad for the guy. He's well-developed though, definitely the best-developed in the show. I love how his character arc came full circle at the end of season 2. Oh, and he's also adorable.
I also love his friendship with Clay. They may not be best friends, but it's a great example of how good, quality friends will encourage and support you, not manipulate and use you. He's hands down my favorite character in this show.
-
Lance Richmond
Definitely the most entertaining of the knights. He's a total drama king. I also really like how his signature weapon (surprise!) is a lance with a twist - it's actually retractable. Makes for surprisingly cool (and clever) choreography.
I also find it amusing that his full name is Lancelot, and he's often seen flirting with girls. Cute but not so subtle callback to the knight of Arthurian legend.
I'm not fond of him due to his rebelliousness, which is why I favor Clay over him. That Moorington knight and I have uptight personalities.
-
Aaron Fox
Not my kind of guy due to how fun-loving and humorous he is. Therefore, Clay's my kind o' guy 'cause his personality's like mine.
The first hipster I've ever liked. Funny, charming, and surprisingly smart.
-
Macy Halbert
My favorite knight. She reminds me of myself when I was a kid… or maybe even right now. Always giving her all. She's a tomboy who's uncomfortable wearing dresses and would rather be out playing rough with the boys.
I also really like her dynamic with Clay. She's like his unspoken second-in-command or right-hand girl, and the most loyal knight. They have this nice mutual respect going on.
I'm praying they DON'T start shipping them in canon! I love these sorts of relationships where a guy and girl are on equal terms, admire, and respect each other without being romantically attracted. It's like Ash and Dawn. Curse the stupid fanbase and its front-page-of-Google shipping garbage.

Ruina Stoneheart
She's probably one of the best characters in the series! Why? Well, I love evil witches. They're my favorite type of villains. And Ruina, aka Wanda? She's one of the best!
The fact that she's such a haunting character in season four, like she's some kind of ghost, makes her even better. And we never got any sort of conclusion with her. She's still out there somewhere, still plotting.
By and large, one of the best villains ever made by Lego.
She is manipulative! She is evil! She is a witch! She is the best! The fact that she is Clay's mother makes her already interesting character even more intriguing.

Axl
It's too bad that, this being a kids' show, he's used mainly for really lame "I love food!" jokes. When he does get quality focus, he's smarter than he lets on and down-to-earth, which I love.
I also like how tight he is with his family and how protective he is of them.
He's all right, although it would make more sense if his first name had an E between the X and L.
-
Monstrox
Manipulative bastard. Love how he's voiced by Mark Oliver, the same guy who voices Garmadon. He does a great job, and some of his lines make me chuckle.
Manipulative bastard. He's awesome! I particularly like him when he's an angry director in Season 2, Episode 20.
He is an evil necromancer that commands an army of monsters. Every story needs a villain like him!

Izzy Richmond
She and Fletch are both so cute! I'm glad they made a cameo in Season 4.
-
Ava Prentis
Her monotone voice and deadpan sarcasm are great.

Sparkks
The big lava Plankton that loves burning villages. I wouldn't like to find this big guy in a dark alley at night.

General Magmar
-
Robin Underwood
It would be great if he became the sixth Nexo Knight.

Merlok 2.0
I don't know how to feel about him. He's alright, mostly, but he kept a lot of secrets about Clay's family from him. He's... untrustworthy, I guess.
I think he's a great mentor. The Nexo Knights should feel lucky to have him as their boss.
-
Whiparella
Whiparella is so scary when she uses her flaming whips, and Aaron has a crush on her.
-
Queen Halbert
-
Jorah Tightwad
Best punny name ever. And you can guess his main character trait. Yep, he's greedy.
-
General Garg
-
Beast Master
Okay, so he has no character whatsoever, but I just really love his design. He looks kinda like a medieval executioner or something. And his voice actor does a good job, lol.
-
King Halbert
He seems like a half-decent king, but he's not a good dad to Macy. He doesn't accept her love of being a knight and would rather restrict her into being the very thing she hates. He only comes around at the very end.
A good guy at heart, but not a good dad.
