He dealt with Betty Ross' general dad, fought dangerous enemies, being thrown into space and tries to cure himself to get rid of the Hulk forever. Before Scott Lang, Hank Pym has being doing well as a hero and as an Avenger for years until things went rock bottom. He and his wife the Wasp have been arguing each other, next his wife died during Secret Invasion and then when his wife came back alive (even though I've been missing out on reading his stories awhile).
