Got his adoptive son, Jason murdered and struggled not to kill the Joker.
His friend/partner, Barbara got paralysed.
Has to deal with Superman's rubbish.
Many more friends died or betrayed him.
Has a brat for an unwanted son who also dies.

This is a small list of all the pain he has gone through and is still fighting.

Peter Parker has witnesses the deaths of his uncle, Captain Stacey, Gwen Stacey and others around him, but with great power comes with great responsibility he can still overcome the odds and fights on as Spider-Man.

Cloned by Weapon X, Laura Kinney had an awful life when she was raised as a "lab rat" for the program. She was subjected to cruel, unusual torture and being trained as a merciless assassin. Her rage causes her to kill her mother accidently and end up being the lone wolf. When she was "fathered" by Wolverine, she becomes a better person than a killer and become the member of the X-Men. After Wolverine's death, Laura follows his footsteps to become the all new Wolverine.

When his father was killed by gangsters, Matt Murdock becomes the crime fighter known as Daredevil. He also had sad moments when his first love interest gets killed by Bullseye and again Bullseye kills Elektra.

Young Jean Grey is still around, you know when her and the original X-Men are trapped in the present and that time when Kitty Pryde was their teacher.

She was killed by Wolverine but now she is back!

Before Scott Lang, Hank Pym has being doing well as a hero and as an Avenger for years until things went rock bottom. He and his wife the Wasp have been arguing each other, next his wife died during Secret Invasion and then when his wife came back alive (even though I've been missing out on reading his stories awhile). Sad thing now is that Hank has been merged with his nemesis Ultron to become as one and they end up in space.

1. Lost his home world, with his parents and never been raised by them.
2. Killed Lois (his love interest), mistaking her for Doomsday (one of his deadly enemies).
3. Died (but came back alive)

That's all I know about him, but sometimes The Man Of Steel can be just like us, in his own epic way.
