Top 10 Best X-Men Heroes
Without Wolverine, there is no X-Men. You have to have him on the team. He is also a great leader. It's like having pasta without cooking it. That's what it's like when you don't have Wolverine on the team or in any X-Men-related stuff.
Wolverine is just the best character ever! That healing ability is so sick! Wolverine is practically immortal. Plus, those killer claws (literally) and the ability to kill the Phoenix - Wolverine is totally the number one best mutant there is. #keepcalmandlovewolverine
The fact that he does just as well in his own comics tells you that he's the one most people call their favorite. He's the best there is at what he does.
Cyclops is not just the best leader of the X-Men. He's the best leader of the endangered mutant race. Not as powerful as Magneto, as popular as Wolverine, or as revered as Charles Xavier, he compensates for his inability to control his own mutant abilities by keeping everything else in control. He is a master strategist who is willing to make the hard choices for the betterment of his people.
Cyclops has an unparalleled source of energy and can release it at a whim through his eyes. He is a master strategist and can absorb or withstand energy used against him like the mutant Bishop. He is also very smart and has a sixth sense of awareness. He can't be beat!
-Gerald R.
Hasn't anyone done the research? She is perhaps one of the strongest characters in Marvel itself. Telekinesis, teleportation, energy manipulation, reality-bending powers... she has it all. And that's when she is just Jean Grey. When in her Phoenix form, she becomes unbeatable and nigh-omnipotent.
Oh, come on! Why isn't she at the top?
My favorite and sexiest X-Men girl is the one and only Jean Grey because she's the most popular Marvel heroine and she's like a geek goddess. I've seen her looking hot in her swimsuits and her X-Men costumes. Her first class and Phoenix costumes are even hotter than the other ones.
She's beautiful, and she's the first black female superhero! She's also a very powerful mutant. She didn't use her powers to defeat Cyclops to become a leader. She's literally a goddess, a thief, a loner, a queen, and a survivor, making her relatable.
Not only is she the best X-Men female, but she's also the best X-Man. I would've voted for Wolverine, but Wolverine's already number one. He doesn't need any more votes.
She's wise, smart, and selfless, has great powers, and lives Xavier's dream the way it was meant to be.
I remember something from way back in X2, when he and Storm were sitting and talking on that jet. He said something like:
- You know, outside the circus, most people were afraid of me. But I didn't hate them. I pitied them. Do you know why? Because most people will never know anything beyond what they see with their own two eyes.
And then Storm was like:
- I gave up on pity a long time ago.
- Someone so beautiful should not be so angry.
- Sometimes anger can help you get through life.
- So can faith.
He's the embodiment of what the X-Men premise is based on. Even among other mutants, he stands out as different - the "misfit," as Wolverine called him. The character shows that someone different doesn't have to be feared, as he's the most compassionate and forgiving of all the X-Men. He's the welcoming smile in the face of hatred and misunderstanding.
What the hell is he doing down here? He's EXTREMELY powerful, smart, and intelligent. Everyone would like to marry him!
Mind controller. If it wasn't for him, none of the X-Men would be able to control their powers.
He could just kill someone's brain like controlling Deadpool and killing his brain!
Everything about Deadpool is great, from his attitude to his brutal honesty and sarcasm. Who doesn't love a mutant anti-hero who literally can't die and has the power to kill the whole Marvel Universe, including the writers of the comics, and still be totally amazing?
Deadpool is the character that got me into comics. If it weren't for Deadpool, I'd probably still be a boring, normal teenage girl who isn't in love with both Deadpool and Ryan Reynolds (the actor who portrayed Deadpool in the movie).
His redemption arc is one of the best in comic books. Though there are times when writers didn't do him justice, he is still one of the most interesting characters out there.
The person who said he's not as powerful as Wolverine, Cyclops, and Storm... Storm I can agree with and possibly Wolverine due to his healing powers. But Cyclops? I hate to break it to you, but Gambit is actually a lot more powerful than Cyclops. Look up kinetic energy and optic light and see how they compare. Kinetic energy is much more damaging than optic light.
Gambit should be higher. During the Apocalypse arc and New Son arcs, he can even blow things up just by using mind power. He deserves a lot better than this.
I like to think of Beast as the Hulk of the X-Men. He is super strong while maintaining super genius intellect. He should 100 percent be in the top 10, especially above Morph, Northstar, and (while I still like him) Gambit.
What's not to love about Beast? He is the smartest X-Man and has genius intellect, not to mention his enhanced strength, speed, and agility!
Hank McCoy (Beast) is a genius with plenty of savagery. My favorite of the X-Men, second only to Wolverine.
Are you kidding me? Rogue is the definition of a powerhouse. She can have or be anyone she wants. She's the number one threat to all the villains.
Love her. She should be higher on this list.
I can see why she's high on the list since she can replicate powers, but the downside is she has to touch them.
Quicksilver, having that insane speed (38,595,840 m/s, sound speed: 341 m/s), is able to annihilate anyone just by punching them. Imagine if he carried a knife or a gun! He would do that before other mutant opponents had a chance to use their abilities.
Also, if he threw a bunch of uranium at that speed at any surface, it's almost twice the speed that uranium needs to fuse.
Super speed. Outnumbers Flash. By the way, the pic of Quicksilver is kinda wrong. It should be Evan Peters' version.
He is the best. He can defeat anyone, and he has a funny personality.
He is the coolest and doesn't take things too seriously. Quicksilver is the best! I love him.
She was the main character in X-Men: Days of Future Past (the comic) and she really had a great chance to shine. She must stay away from Bobby though because he is Rogue's man.
She's lucky that nobody can kill her because of her phasing. Although it's not the greatest or most popular mutant ability in the X-Men series, Kitty is a perfect solo survivor.
She's my favorite female X-Man. She whooped Juggernaut without touching him.
Colossus is unstoppable! The only ones that could probably beat him are Magneto and Professor X.
Like Winter Soldier's arm, Colossus has that awesome shininess to him.
Strong, steel, hard to kill, amazing background. What more do you want?
She's awesome. She is a natural-born leader. She is also mysterious and sensitive about what people think of her. That's a lot like me. I show nobody the real me. I love her blue skin and the ability to change forms. People say she's a villain, but I think she is just trying to help Magneto and is misunderstood. Go Mystique!
Sexy, sassy, sly, sneaky, mysterious, and dangerous. Mystique is so awesome. Ignore Jennifer Garner's performance. The original Mystique actress killed the role!
Let's be honest here. He's by far one of the most powerful. He can clone himself, survive being melted, live in the moisture in the air, create an "ice hulk," revive people with his freezing powers, create ice missiles, freeze large areas (he froze the entirety of hell), and freeze people entirely.
Plus, he's just so damn likable.
Iceman is one of the original X-Men. He has a cool personality and cool powers. Iceman is powerful but not too powerful, and he is a key member of the X-Men.
Iceman is my favorite! He's funny, sad, powerful, and always compelling.
Erik is an amazingly powerful mutant. Without him, how could the X-Men movies even work? Days of Future Past definitely wouldn't have worked without him. He is a much-needed, underappreciated character who needs more recognition for his outstanding power!
I believe Magneto is not only one of the best comic book villains but also one of the coolest, if not the coolest, X-Men characters.
Magneto is a badass. He literally rips Wolverine apart. He can stop bullets and lift up all the metal in the earth to destroy everything.
She's technically a mutant but they changed her story so it didn't look like they were stealing Fox's X-Men movies. The same with Quicksilver. She was originally a mutant, a powerful one too. She was in both the X-Men and Avengers universes.
Only House of M fans know how crazy her powers are.
She is the most powerful character in both X-Men and Avengers (in my opinion).
I love Jubilee! Though she doesn't have the strongest or coolest powers, she definitely has an awesome personality and is very comedic. I wish the comics didn't take her powers away and make her a vampire.
Her vampire powers and energy beams make her a pretty beast mutant.
You mean Angel/Archangel, right? He's even more dangerous than ever, especially when his wings become steel, feathered blades.
Angel should be in the top 10. He is, after all, one of the originals in the X-Men group.
Angel is HOT! Especially in the "Wolverine and the X-Men" series.
