He went through intense mental, physical, and emotional pain in his training. He got his back broken by Bane. His adoptive son, Jason, was murdered, and he struggled not to kill the Joker. His friend/partner, Barbara, was paralyzed. He has to deal with Superman's issues. Many more friends died or betrayed him. He has a brat for an unwanted son who also dies.

He dealt with Betty Ross' general father, fought dangerous enemies, was thrown into space, and tried to cure himself to get rid of the Hulk forever. In the Civil War II story arc, Bruce wanted Hawkeye to kill him if he got angry again, and that's exactly what happened.

When she was "fathered" by Wolverine, she became a better person than a killer and joined the X-Men. After Wolverine's death, Laura followed in his footsteps to become the all-new Wolverine.

He was created by writer Gerry Conway and artist John Romita Sr. The name of the character was approved by Marvel publisher Stan Lee. After his family was gruesomely murdered by vicious mobsters, Frank Castle seeks to punish those who ruined him and everyone who gets in his way, becoming the Punisher.
Magneto
Magneto is a fictional character in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is most often associated with the X‑Men franchise. Magneto is a powerful mutant with the ability to generate and manipulate magnetic fields. He lost his family when he was little and later lost his wife and daughter due to an angry mob after discovering his mutant powers. During her teens, Cindy Moon was bitten by the same spider that bit Peter Parker before it died. When Cindy discovered she had spider powers, a man named Ezekiel put her in a bunker to keep her safe from an Inheritor named Morlun. It's sad that she missed her family and spent ten years in the bunker until Spidey broke her out. Now, as Silk, she fights crime and has been searching for her family ever since.
