81 Lzzy Hale Lzzy Hale Elizabeth Mae "Lzzy" Hale is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. She is best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the American hard rock band Halestorm, which she co-founded in 1997.

Great singer with power that could stand up against anyone. Her live stuff is better than the recordings. Live is where her power really comes thru.

I can't believe that people put demi lovato in top ten and Lzzy Hale here...
How come? Lzzy isn't just a singer... Her voice and performance together are WONDERFUL!
People please check it out
And then see who is better

She can hit notes like nobody's business!

Power at its best,

82 Jennifer Rush

A feminine beauty in her voice with a richness that is not matched by any female singer. Pure joy to listen to.

Anyone who appreciates Celine Dion go and listen "Power of love" from both of these singers and then start to appreciate Jennifer more. More power in her voice than Adele has and Adele has been said to have the most powerful voice in 21th century.

How on earth is Celine Dion way before Rush? Not even on her wildest dreams. Just listen the Power of Love both versions.

She's number one on this list, hands down. People don't vote fair, they vote for their favourite.

Listen to "Gimme Shelter" for ability and power of her voice...

Powerful voice. Just listen to How Can I Ease the Pain.

She has a great and unique voice

84 Annie Lennox Annie Lennox

I believe the most powerful voice, and one that is conveyed calmly and without strain. Delivery is with very high precision. Contralto voice does not have as much range as some others, but then this survey is about power, not range.

4 octaves, total control, rich sound, consistently gorgeous music: Annie's my pick all the way!

90 Annie Haslam

Annie Haslam has to be one of the music incredible female singers that I have ever heard. If you have any doubts listen to 'Ashes are Burning'. Live at the Carnegie Hall is one of their best albums and her voice is just as clear as in the studio. She is a Coloratura Soprano and should definitely be in the top 5. Annie even puts Mariah Carey in the shade - which takes some doing.

Absolutely agree. No way that she should be anywhere but in the top 5. I saw Renaissance live twice and she can produce the same incredible vocal quality live as she did in the studio and without the aid of auto-tune. More than can be said for many of the names on this list!

Well, believe it or not, she is still singing and has an 5 octave range. She is a legend and God knows why she is so low down. Shame on you all!

Annie has one of the most expressive and wide vocal ranges... I especially liked her live versions of Mother Russia and Ashes are burning... Just plain amazing.

93 Joss Stone Joss Stone Joscelyn Eve Stoker, better known by her stage name Joss Stone, is a British singer, songwriter and actress.

This lady has an amazing voice and I was really surprised when I found out the first time I saw her, since just listenning I was thinking that was a baptist church singer and not a skinny blonde girl.

95 Kimbra Kimbra Kimbra Lee Johnson, known mononymously as Kimbra, is a New Zealand recording artist based in Los Angeles.

Amazing vocal range. Powerful and ethereal in "Somebody I Used to Know".

96 Rachelle Ferrell

Rachelle is a singers singer. She is in the top ten, but since she is not a commercial powerhouse many fans have not heard her. It is well known in the singing community that vocalist male and female are afraid to be on the same stage with her. IE: Patty Labelle, Anita Baker, Aretha, etc. Google her and you will be blown away.

Rachelle is definitely a singer's singer. Rachelle should be in the top three of all times. Her vocal range cannot be matched.

Google her! Should be at the top of any list...7 octave range! ENOUGH SAID!

98 Michelle Chamuel

Hands down, such an incredible voice and stage presence. Her solo writing and production is impressive as well.

I think the greatest live performer on a reality television series.

99 Avril Lavigne Avril Lavigne

Avril is a punk rocker. Yes, I did hate 'Hello Kitty', but she's still awesome. She has a really powerful voice and personal songs (complicated, keep holding on). On top of that, she writes her own lyrics.

She belongs higher than Katy Perry who has no voice at all.

Has the most unique voices at all time.
