Top 10 Most Annoying Things When Playing Video Games Online
Most of these can be controlled by simply muting the other players. Lag on the other hand you can't do anything even with a strong Internet connection. How many times have you just been doing great in a game online then it lags you out? ANNOYING AS HELL!
Lag... Lag my greatest enemy. I does not matter what game, a chance will be lag ruins everything. Most of the time lag kills me or makes me lose in any way. Sometimes the game freezes too. BUT the rarest of times happen that lag saves you. May the lag not be with you.
Whenever I'm playing Halo 4 with my brother online. Lag ruins the games for us, when I try to shoot someone in those vehicles, they lag right behind me (for some odd reason) and run me over! That or I'm aiming at someone, they're moving, and they glitch out and move somewhere else! That's when all the people in the lobby leave and it gets SO DAMN IRRITATING!
I'm, like twelve-thirteen. My parents won't let me play Earthbound because it is rated T. (I still main Ness and Lucas in smash four though, no rule against that.) I've played Call of Duty at my friend's place, and is boring to be honest. The only games I care for that are above my age are Red Dead Redemption ( my buddy and I play it his house), Earthbound, and Xenoblade Chronicles X, as well as the original Xenoblade.
And with the world we live in, none of the "inappropriate" things in games surprise me. Cursing? Hear it at school. Violence? Isis, war, terrorism. Blood? People get hurt, so what?
But the whole "kids with Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty" crap, yeah, that's gotta stop.
It's so frustrating how judgemental people are when it comes to kids playing M games. I am a kid who plays M games, but it's horrible to know that people my age will scream and cuss while their mics on. It's laughable, but it also ruins the whole experience. Also, people are judging kids who play M games as screaming, cussing idiots. I hear about people trying to be nice, but get bombarded with insults. People also think we only play Call of Duty when I myself play games like Uncharted, Battlefield and Borderlands. Call of Duty is nowhere near my most anticipated games list and never will be. So yeah, some of us are actually thoughtful and nice, not the short tempered 10 year old who only plays Call of Duty and screams every time he/she gets killed.
On a Minecraft server mine time whenever I play infection, there are SO MANY hackers that fly and glide and sometimes they fly to other maps so no one can get them. Also they say that hacking is allowed! It makes me so mad!
In Roblox, there is a Hacker named Jaredvaldez4 and whenever I go on a game server, he follows me there like a ghost and when I turn back to see if he is behind me, he's not there at all... Than he starts to make scary noises that just creep me out... Boy, is he creepy! He hacked my friends, FloraOfHearts and girlcurly which makes me so mad!
Well. I actually enjoy some hackers. I ran into a lobby for WaW zombies on Kino, and they hacked the map so we can fly around and use nukes whenever we want, with unlimited money and wallhacks. It was a fun experience quite so.
I have been sniped by snipers, blown up by tanks, shot in the back and had a airplane or two land on me and I can handle it. It's a war or fighting game! You can't have a single game without being killed once! Whose who do survive a full game are maybe just super-skilled players and are not hackers.
So I was playing Factions MP on The Last of Us, and when this one kid was downed, he started screaming on the mic for help. Around the end of the match, he was downed, so I went to help him. Then this guy with a Molotov threw it at both of us (which we died, obviously) and he got mad, like saying that I'm stupid.
Yep, I hear this all the time, in multiple guenras of games. Either they scream at the top of there lungs, or call you a hacker. If they challenge you to a 1v1, you'll rek them and they'll rage quit, like they normally do. Too bad there's little we can do besides kicking or banning them.
In all honesty it would depend on what game you are playing. If you're playing a tactical shooter like Arma, or Counter Strike, then it's okay. But in games like Call of Duty it can get annoying when a fast paced arcade shooter turns into a "who can kill this guy so we can continue" game
I agree. The people who camp need to be kicked off the game if they are staying in one spot the entire game and no matter what you do, they wont die. Especially in Call of Duty.
In fortnite they added a bush disguise well they set of a bomb. It is so easy to go up to a player without them noticing and it must be the most annoying thing ever - Unnamed Google User Remade
Not only applying to gaming, but in real life too. At school, I always pass by kids playing their rap music on their speakers, and on the road, people driving by with the bass all the way up, in fact so high I can feel my organs vibrating, and playing their rap music really loudly. Can't we all accept not everyone wants to hear your music? I swear if this keeps up, I'm walking through school playing Dream Theater to prove the kids a point.
So annoying! I had a Minecraft party and my friend and his girl came. He put some 70's music for his girl and when I told him to turn it off, his girlfriend tells me to leaver the room and the server. When I say no anyway she tells me to just go outside for a minute or two.
The worst is when someone has to sing along with all the songs, even after you've told them they're a terrible singer. I have a friend who sometimes does this. I avoid playing with him now.
For example Grand Theft Auto 5 right? Your team is winning and the other team is losing but then people on the rival team starts to quit for no reason and then as the game goes on more people quit. You realize your team is about to win then suddenly the last person on the rival team quits and game over. Pretty annoying right?
I understand there are more importand things in life than video games that you could quit a game for. But, what annoys me is when people quit because they're team is losing. That's what a 3 year old would do. Don't cry about it and quit, just at least wait till the end of the game and support your team.
One time I played midnight club:la I raced someone with my Dodge and I was almost to the finish line but the person who I was racing with quit because I won. If you can't handle defeat then don't play online games.
I once played a x10 server on tf2 and some guy on the other team said more curse words than I even knew EXISTED, I hope I get a brain implant that censors all curse words when I'm older.
It can be appropriate (and funny) to curse every once in a while, but players who do it every time they lose gets to be obnoxious.
I may be profane, but at least I try to control my profanity. People who swear so many times in a short span of time, on the other hand...
Who the hell added this list?
Don't the moderators on this site ever check racist lists before letting it through?
I'm trying to but I'm a slave to my hormones.
Like on bunch of games people abuse the 'duplication glitch' So frustrating earn it yourself
In roblox's top model, this girl named creeperhunter kept winning and getting first place all the time and I was always second just because she had VIP! So I went mad and than she'd go over to my model and say things like "ha ha couldn't beat me? " And "you know I'm better than you are I'm always first place" it's just so Annoying! That girl was cheating on me and I know it! So when I found out about this roblox hack website, I got because and hacked creeperhunter's account. She was so mad that she hacked me too and she got OBC! If this girl dares to come to your server, she'll ruin other people's chances of winning
It's also annoying if you are really good at the game and people still call you a hacker. There is a game on roblox called boys vs girls island wars and in that game I have over 5000 kills and I got 3000 of my kills without VIP. When I was recking a noob she told me to take of my VIP because they thought I was a hacker so I did and I stilled destroyed her. She kept calling me a hacker until she left the game.
I don't see the problem with Kids playing rated M games its up to the parents, I played god of war when I was like 14 so whats the big deal?
Plating music over the mic, easily solved MUTE THEM! That's all you have to do instead of moaning and complaining about it, just mute them.
Glitchers however ruin the game, I enjoy tf2 but when you get one person who wont die or places sentries in of the map areas so they cannot be destroyed is just annoying, PLAY THE GAME HOW IT SHOULD BE PLAYED! Cheating ruins the experience and people who do it are just sad.
When people use glitches I don't care. But, when people use glitches for never dieing or some crap ONLINE with other people...its annoying and cheap. If you can't play the game normally and you have to cheat to win then LEAVE.
Glitches can be funny sometimes (like in Skyrim), but when it messes something up or someone abuses glitches, it just becomes annoying.
Keeps happening to me in Smash and Mario Kart 7.
I was playing this one MM match in CSGO before I quit the game completely (bad community, ranking system, and not as competitive as source in case you were wondering. ) And this one guys kept calling our team bad, and I was on a premade team so I knew who the bad ones were. And he kept telling us to wait until he starts getting to the top of the leader boards. 12-15 he only has 3 kills, and the worst player on our premade was not only dominating him, but getting a decent K/D ratio. And again In case you were wondering, I was second best.
People like this piss me off, and sense silver is basically elo hell for most players who deserve Silver Elie master, or maybe a gold nova one, I just qut CSGO entirely and went on to CSS. Hardly any retards, great community, and more competitive.
I was playing Minecraft with a friend until some guy said he was gonna kill both of us immediately. The game starts and he becomes the first to die (hunger games by the way)
While you are saying we are rude, you are using fat stereotypes to do this, being rude. You hypocrites. Not all Americans are fat. (Though some are, I must admit) And all you guys think about is Texas. I swear, You guys seem to think that that is the only way we all are. Obese and overly patriotic. NEWS FLASH! Stereotypes are BAD! AND MOSTLY NOT TRUE!
Why is it british kids? It could be american, australian, german, mexican, canadian, african, and nothing at all. Why did they specify it!
This is a pathetic insult. You don't assume that the person who wrote it is American and just copy paste the previous insult.
This one I relate to since I was in the middle of an online mission one time, except they told me to pause and I couldn't... The game would still go so I had to kill all enemies I had that would still harm me until I could relax and help my parents... by the way the game was an RPG.
Some games keep going even if you're paused.
Nothing is good about this one.
YES! These are annoying as hell. This is why online games made 5-10 years ago are better than those of today.
My brother and his best friend are forced to play squads in Fortnite with my obnoxious neighbor. He just steals their kills a lot and takes their good loot when they find them first or kill the people with them. Like once he was just camping and my brother and his best friend had to clutch up against a squad with the Meowscles Peow Peow Rifle, Midas Drum Gun, Brutus Minigun, purple heavy sniper and a gold pump. And my neighbor was just being a huge coward and hid away from the battle. Then he swooped in and stole everything except the Peow Peow Rifle. But luckily, my brother and his friend kicked my neighbor from the party and won.
I can understand being annoyed by individual kills that are stolen. But you know, I also hate it when people don't understand teamwork. Like, this one friend of mine always whines about the other people on our team 'taking all the kills'. Argh! It's called working together! It's really fun when you and your teammates are in sync. I know getting assist after assist gets old and it shouldn't happen all the time. But seriously, don't whine about someone getting a lot of kills if they are really good. That's only natural. It's ok to have the least amount of kills on your team as long as the whole team was working together. If you don't want to have to work with a team, then go play FFA. But be aware that stealing kills is an acceptable (and recommended) strategy in FFA. Stolen kills happen all the time and I'm fine with it, because that is how you win in FFA.
Honestly, I rarely feel I've had kills stolen from me when I'm playing team games. And that's not because I'm the one stealing kills either. I'm a stickler for avoiding stealing peoples kills. I try my hardest to be a good teammate and help only where I'm needed (my favorite medal in Halo: Reach is the Protector medal). So basically, learn the difference between teamwork and a stolen kill. Learn to not be so stingy. Not every assist is automatically a 'stolen kill'.
This is very annoying in Fortnite! Last season in Chapter 2: Season 2 I kept dying to annoying kids that just sprayed me from close range with their AR or SMGs. Like why can't people just use a shotgun in a close range fight instead of relying on spray weapons?!
Spammers are annoying, even in Naruto they're a pain in the ass, but in DBZ, they're much worse. Seriously, I fought a Y. Kakashi spammer in Revolution who spammed Chidori, but I made a huge comeback and beat him with Sakura. Same thing I did with Shisui against a Madara spammer. In RB1, I fought a scrubby spammer, and I 2v5ed him + he rage quit. In RB2 team battle, he tried to 1v5 me with Goku all by himself with no other characters in his team by repeating the same combo over and over and abusing Instant Transmission, but failed miserably. He beat my Meta-Cooler but not my SSJ2 Teen Gohan. LOL.
Spam them back!
I had some people rage quit a few times on call of duty, they quit in the middle of the match
I hate to be mean but if you have crappy connection at the moment just wait it of and don't play online! why make everyone you're playing with online suffer too?
I apparently have bad connection and its pretty much the opposite.
I shoot this guys chest like 250 times and he just kills me with a shotgun.
I wait on you for 5 minutes to connect to the PlayStation 3 internet forever.
I have more than 13k kills on my account on Base Wars on ROBLOX, but I don't brag, but every time someone who has more kills than I do, they say "prepare to die laugh out loud" This is what pisses me off! I feel like hacking into their account and watch them cry that they get banned!
I love Star Trek Online, but listening to the in-game chat at the major starbases like Sol and DS9 is enough to make me puke: guys bragging and obsessing over their ships and skills like so many teenagers bragging about their cars. Didn't Mr. Data say something like that? ;o)
It isn't only this that makes me angry. It gets me angry when people make fun of you for your lack of skill. I had this happen on World of Warcraft.
I hate noobs. But I don't hate them just because they are new. I hate them because most of them try to play the game correctly. But they just bum around doing stupid things.
Oh, so you hate new people that don't understand? If they annoy you, just help them.
I do not want to kill myself every time I hear this word.
If you are one of these people that get mad about that, don't play Dark Souls.
Basically, when you can't control the level of people you battle online in an MMORPG, half the time you'll be getting killed in just a few turns while it would take a lot of turns for you to defeat them.
A team of all bronzes in Overwatch (and me whose unranked still) vs. a team of all golds. Seems unfair, right? Well, me and the bronze people won and I got play of the game! Yay!
Fix your matchmaking in bloons td battles 2 ninja kiwi!
"Ply a gme wit meee." That describes what people who randomly invite me to fireteams and things when I just want to play my game. How about you deal with your problem in the game with someone else instead of me?
A random dude trying to get me to play Minecraft while I'm on Geometry Dash :O
