This is also a great gun -- the best gun for Terrorists in my opinion, even if it is cheap. Except it makes a sound like a bulldozer. You shoot it at someone, and everybody knows where you are.

But otherwise, great, and in a way, it is the Terrorist version of the M4A1-S. My favorite gun to use as a Terrorist.

The AK-47 is a powerful weapon. It is a one-shot headshot no matter what, and if you learn its spray pattern, it will be better than the AWP.

If you use this correctly, it is extremely good. If you're bad, however...

Why is the M4A4 here at 15 instead of the top 3? It can replace the AWP. It's cheaper, available at round 2, and accurate at distances. Great for mid-range but still excels at close and long range. Damage output is okay, larger mag and ammo reserve than the M4A1-S. What the hell is the M4A4 doing at 15?

Great gun, good accuracy, destroys in close combat against all guns except someone who knows what they're doing with an AWP or shotgun.

If you're a CT player and are outgunned, you want this gun. It's very accurate, looks cool, and has enough ammunition for clutches, unlike the M4A1-S.

This is typically my go-to gun. Why? Because it can be a highly effective sniper when used correctly at long range. Yet, when you must rush, it is just as helpful as an AK. The only downside is the cost, but it's worth it if you can land a good headshot here and there.

This is my go-to gun for everything: deathmatch, competitive, EVERYTHING. One time everyone on my team had an AWP. I told them I would snipe in the nest on Mirage, and guess what? They didn't let me. What happened? I got the most kills, spraying and 1-tapping at long range.

People like the Deagle over this gun, but I don't really like it. This gun costs about half the cost of the Deagle and has better accuracy and recoil control. So, you can fire rapidly and deal massive damage without needing great firepower.

This gun takes training. You can't just be Shroud overnight, and people have to understand that. But once you get good at using it, it will destroy the other team.

One-shot kill above the waist. Mag holds a ton of bullets (for a sniper). Double zoom. What more could you possibly need?

Definitely the best weapon. It can kill an opponent in one shot no matter where it hits (except for the legs). You can also get really long-range shots with it. I don't know why this isn't #1.

It takes a lot of skill to flick and master the weapon. To this day, no one has ever mastered the weapon fully. If anyone could, it would be deadly and would destroy every team.

Amazing gun. It has no tracers, so shooting through smoke is easier because they can't see the direction the shots are coming from. Also, better accuracy than the M4A4 at longer ranges, but it doesn't shine like the M4A4 at close to medium range situations.

Long to medium-range duels suit the M4A1-S better.

This is a great gun. I just like it and use it a lot when I am CT. It shines in Comp, and the silencer helps a lot. Some people use the M4A1-S and then take the silencer off, but then you just lose the purpose of it.

It is a great gun for starters too, but if in the hands of an expert at this gun, nobody can kill you. I think it is way better than the AWP.

INSANELY underrated SMG. Amazing up close, good at medium range (MP7 is better for spraying at those ranges), great movement speed, and a quick reload. It has great jumping accuracy, so try jumping around corners while firing to out-peek opponents.

Its biggest drawback, like with the MAC-10, is its fire rate coupled with a smaller mag size. A Bizon could more effectively stop a Glock train, but in almost every occasion, I'd take this over a Bizon or MAC-10.

Totally agree with other comments. The AUG and SG 553 are, in my opinion, the most effective weapons to use in this game. If you are good at spraying and good at sniping, don't waste your time -- just use it and get impressed by its very easy headshots at mid/long distances and its perfect accuracy at short ones.

Sniper rifle? Cool. Assault rifle? Cool. Assault rifle with a sniper scope? PERFECT! Now, I know it is not a sniper scope, but it is a scope nonetheless.

It is effective at close range, mid-range, and long range! Easy to get headshots, and 4 body shots to kill someone is enough anyway. It has long reload times, however, so you gotta watch out.

The Five-Seven has a very high rate of fire with a small recoil, thus making it a great weapon to pull out and spray to hit a moving enemy. It is only $500 and is an instant KO if you hit the head, which is very feasible considering the large magazine and overall solid accuracy.

The only downside is that it is a CT-exclusive pistol.

Great pistol for eco rounds on the CT side. It takes one headshot to take out a helmet. Crazy good for the price tag at $500.

This gun basically insta-kills everything around it. Also, you can fire as rapidly as you can click, but it has a long reload time. If you're looking for a powerful gun, this shotgun is as good as it gets.

The heavies aren't that good in CSGO, but this gun is the best out of all of them aside from the Mag-7. The Negev costs too much and has crappy recoil, the same goes for the M249. The XM1014 has a high bullet spread and is bad for rushing, and the Sawed-Off sucks in every aspect.

This one is a blast for its price. I have turned countless matches by buying the Scout on forced rounds or when I had more money than my team in eco rounds. It is fast, accurate, and deals plenty of damage for the cost.

It's hard to master, but when you play it confidently, you can deal with anything (except 5-man rushes).

This is my go-to weapon when my team needs an AWPer but can't afford an AWP. Just shoot for the head, and it's a faster AWP. If you miss, just one more body shot, and it's an easy kill.

Great when you need to jump shot people. It has amazing no-scope accuracy.

It's like the Negev, and it's funny to shoot with these.

Of all weapons, this one requires the least effort for me to kill at all ranges. I just love this gun even more than the AK-47 or M4, and I definitely think it is more effective than its equivalent, the FAMAS. It also has more ammo. 35 rounds are better than 30 or 25.

It's a very good gun! It kills fast, and the recoil is so easy to control! It's my second favorite gun after the AWP.

Very nice gun, cheap, and easily obtained in early rounds.

The FAMAS is basically the same thing as the Galil AR, but it also has a burst fire mode, which is useless. However, I think it also has more damage and accuracy, but it costs $250 more.

It's precise. It's also good for flanking and has enough ammo for a whole team if you use it properly.

For its price, it packs quite a punch and has good accuracy at close range, but not at long range. Not long range at all. It also has a high rate of fire and low damage, but what did you expect from an SMG?

Amazing accuracy. When this weapon is mastered, it is excellent for headshots and precise snipes from short distances.

I use this gun as my primary and pretty much destroy the opponent team with AKs, M4s, or AWPs. I don't know why people don't use it. Good for me.

I call it the wall-destroyer. On maps like Cruise, you can sometimes get lucky with the lower hostage if a CT comes and tries to take it. Look through the wall on the left where the CT would be, and keep right-clicking. I got about 3 kills in 2 seconds doing this.

Aside from that, if you want accuracy, hold the trigger, and right before it fires, jump out from behind a wall and aim at the opponent. Corner-destroyer.

It's a pistol that is better than a $5,000 rifle. Need I say more?

It's a one-shot kill above the belly button.

Known currently as the "Wreck-9," the Tec-9 got a heck of a boost when the CZ-75 was nerfed, making it extremely spammable. It now has a great range with a whole lot of power -- it now only takes one headshot to kill and 3 body shots to kill -- and has 32 bullets per magazine.

To top that off, it has a pretty high rate of fire and is only $500. The only downside is that the recoil can be pretty terrible, but the Tec-9 is easily the best Terrorist pistol at the moment, bar none.

Press it fast enough, and you now have a secondary machine gun!

Great damage. Always one-hit kill up close if you don't miss. Very underrated weapon. Game changer in close-quarters combat.

The only place this gun is useful is the map Assault. There is a vent where you can hide as a terrorist and shoot counter-terrorists who enter the vent. It's longer to go in the vent as a counter-terrorist than as a terrorist.

Surprisingly accurate at long range, one-hit kill on a headshot, two hits on the body. Beginners will likely hate this gun due to its difficult recoil, but it's an extremely valuable weapon at only $700.

If you're in a tight situation, this is definitely not the gun. But if you're in a pistol round, this gun can be your best buddy.

It has excellent firepower but a low fire rate. Still, a great early-game gun.

Best shotgun in the game. It is useful at short and medium range. It's cheap and has an extremely high kill reward of $900. Get_Right had an ace with a MAG-7 before, showing that in the right hands, this can be the best weapon in the game.

Accurate while jumping, good range, good spread, good power, good price, good kill reward, and fast reload. King of shotguns and one of the most underrated CS weapons.

Ok, do you like the Sawed-Off shotgun? Yes? Now, make it rapid-fire. Awesome. It may have poor range, but what did you expect from a shotgun?

If anyone gets in close contact with you when you are carrying this baby, they're screwed. The only bad thing about it is its high cost.

I don't get why this awesome weapon is so low on the list. The UMP is basically a small rifle that works in almost every situation. The stats are awesome too: fairly high rate of fire, highest DPS to armor out of all SMGs, good first shot accuracy, second cheapest SMG, high kill award, lightweight, and very easy to control.

It is far superior to the P90 in my opinion, as the UMP not only works well against armor but is also very eco-friendly. It pays for itself after 2 kills. The only downsides are its reload time and its mag size, but they are nothing compared to all the positives it has.

Overall, the UMP is no doubt the best SMG in the game and one of the best weapons in the game.
