Top Ten Best Dragon Forms In Breath of Fire 3
Breath of Fire 3 has the best dragon system, better than the previous two games! I didn't like BoF2's system, and BoF was alright with how the dragon transformations go. In this game, you can choose dragon genes and combine them to get different results.Ryu's ultimate form has the highest stats and the ability to use all of Ryu's learnable skills. Use Infinity, Trance, and Radiance for the ultimate form of Kaiser. Other combinations with Infinity put him in a berserk state or result in less favorable stats.
Additionally, the AP cost is quite high. Use it for tough boss fights.
In my opinion, this form is the best Dragon form by far. It has a low magic cost, ridiculous power, and high overall stats. It also includes basically every strike-related attack in the game, not to mention Aura.
It's about as easy to maintain as the Tiamat form. As a cherry on top, it also allows the use of your entire party, not just Ryu as with Tiamat.
Similar to the Warrior dragon, except it's non-elemental and stronger. Aura is a good attack to use in this dragon form.
It requires a minimum of Force and Trance genes.
A very cool dragon form that resembles a coiled snake. All of your party members are fused into this form, which has good stats and full immunity to status changes. It's very useful and comes with good breath spells too.
It requires a minimum of Shadow and Trance genes.
The Warrior dragon is all about power but sacrifices more defense and HP. It also has Aura. It requires a minimum of one Force gene and is good for quick boss fights.
This is a non-elemental but basic dragon form that is really cool. It requires Flame, Frost, and Thunder genes.
A basic dragon form that is quite useful against bosses early in the game when Ryu is still a child. It requires one elemental gene plus anything else.
Unique because it takes on characteristics of a party member. For example, having Nina and Garr in your party and using this dragon form gives you a hybrid with Nina's characteristics. I don't use them much, though.
It requires at least the Fusion gene.
A tank-type dragon with lots of power, defense, and HP but lacking in speed. It fuses all of your party members together.
It requires at least the Miracle gene and some other gene.
Like the Behemoth, except with less defense and more HP. It requires the Miracle gene and some other gene.
An interesting transformation that looks like a Whelp form but is very strong in power. The biggest problem, however, is the lack of HP, which is worse than the other forms.
It requires the Miracle, Thorn, and Reverse genes.
Failure Kaiser: Infinity + Failure genes give you a Kaiser form with lower stats but full status immunity.
