Top 10 Songs that Would Fit Perfectly in the Tony Hawk Pro Skater Games
For those of you who don't know, Tony Hawk Pro Skater is a game series that is basically an arcade-like skateboard game that is widely acclaimed (at least up to American Wasteland that is). The games involve doing 540 Kickflip McTwists and Spine Transferring anything in sight. They're just amazing games all around.Recently I've been playing through a few of them on my Gamecube and one thing I noticed. The soundtracks to these games are ON POINT. So in this list, I wanna dedicate it to these amazing games with amazing soundtracks by picking some songs that would fit perfectly alongside these games.
The criteria for this list is:
1) the songs have to fit the style of music often in the games so genres Punk-related, underground hip-hop, fast-paced metal and old school funk fusion would be fitting.
2) they can be songs already in Tony Hawk games but I prefer you get creative and add some that aren't in any of the games
So pick your songs that makes you want to ride you skateboard and doing some Indy 900s along the way
I feel like this RATM would work because it has that very fast-paced punk feel that would fit well into the games.
There is already some Mastodon songs in some of the games so why not pick another?
This song is quick, angry, heavy and punk. Perfect for the Tony Hawk games.
This song would fit well with the whole underground hip-hop side of the soundtrack. I can picture doing some sick combos while this song is playing in the background.
You gotta have some classic hardcore punk in their. It wouldn't be a Tony Hawk game without.
Classic rock and roll can sometimes work in the games, especially if it's awesome as this song.
Gotta have some old school, raw thrash in there for sure.
I don't know why but I seriously think this song needs to be in some kind of skateboarding game.
I can definitely picture some Run the Jewels playing while I'm doing 1,000,000 point worth combos.
A sick technical thrash metal instrumental while I land some sick combos in the skatepark.
Oh yeah! Approved by the technical thrash metal society!
Whiplash, from the same album, was on Tony Hawk's Underground 2 as well.
