Top 10 Terraria Armor Sets

The armor set I've kept the longest. It has a cool appearance, and each piece of armor gives a boost to the three main styles of fighting (melee, magic, and ranged). Very useful no matter your playstyle.

My favorite pre-hardmode armor. It's quite easy to get as long as you are careful, and it makes you look really cool. It gives you flame particles when walking and also makes a powerful magic gun at that point in the game cost 0 mana.

If you don't think this armor is pure badass, you must be blind. The rapid healing buff it provides is a lifesaver!

This is new to me, so now I'll try this thing out on my Xbox 360. This should heal me and probably help me win the second hardmode boss. PLEASE BE TRUE.

The helmet kind of reminds me of Shovel Knight.
Oh yeah, and it's a set of armor made out of the fragments of the Solar Tower.

The coolest-looking pre-hardmode armor you can get, in my opinion. Quite hard to make, though.

Coolest out of all the end-game armors, though they aren't that useful since you've beaten all the bosses.

Coolest armor, especially the hooded version. Decent defense and a life-steal effect.

I think Spectre Armor is good if you like to use mana, and the defense is decent.

It reduces damage by 25% and has loads of defense.

Great life regeneration and strikes fear into the hearts of your enemies.

I think it's the best because it can give you heaps of melee bonuses, more good stuff, and high-level defense.

Vortex Armor is the second-best armor in the game (PC). You can double-tap down to toggle stealth, increasing ranged ability and reducing the chance for enemies to target you, but it slows your movement speed. The total defense is 62. If you add all accessories with warding, it will be at 90 or 95. Using an Ironskin Potion and food improves minor to all stats.

Best armor for the ranged class. Just combine it with Phantasm, and you will become a lunar archer.

It is, of course, the best armor. Even though the best melee armor is weaker than the Last Prism, I don't play the PC version, but I have knowledge. The best thing is that you can dash with it, and when an enemy touches you, they get burned.

This should at least be in the top ten. I use this set personally, and I really like it.

This armor is cool-looking. I have the full set with all the tools as well.

Very useful on consoles, as it outperforms Spectre Armor and gives you great damage, defense, mana amount, and mana use reduction. This is a must-have for mages. When you combine it with a Blizzard Staff, you can have high damage and use it for a long time because of the mana amount and mana use reduction.

It gives you tons of extra mana and other awesome magic bonuses.

I vote for Adamantite because it's strong and helps your melee damage. I recommend this if you use melee weapons. I use it because, with all my accessories, it gives me 60 defense. Hope this helps!

Adamantite Armor is great when fighting the Destroyer. It boosts your defense and damage.

Tin armor beating Titanium? What is this?

Crimson is better than this, but it is useful for a pre-hard mode armor.

It's SO good - I can even kill a bunny... sometimes.
