Top 10 Worst Flying Video Games

When I think of flying games, I envision you piloting something, some type of aircraft, not flying as someone like Superman. That's different. Here are 10 games you don't want to play when you're ready for a bumpy flight.

The Top Ten
  1. Cybermorph

I mean, hands down, why this one? Well, where did you learn to fly loops over and over every time you crash into something.

Every time you hit something in the game, the green head pops up and says, "Where did you learn to fly?"

  2. Air Control

It's easily one of the top 5 worst games on Steam. I mean, this game is just a flight simulator, and probably the worst kind to even try out.

  3. Independence Day (PS1)

Like the nerd said, although it really doesn't mean much: I'd rather play Top Gun than Independence Day. While I hated the controls, it's something I still have an affection for. This is one of the ugliest PlayStation games as well. I know graphics don't mean much for the PS1 since a lot of games did not look that great for 32-bit, but here it just looks bad. Plus, you'll be hearing take out the generators every time you try and mess up constantly.

  4. Top Gun (NES)

How can you even land it without going full 9000 berserk mode over its crap controls, no matter what you use?

  5. Wing Island

Most have never heard of it. Good, because it's a Wii title that gives you the impression this game is pretty horrible. Remember Hudson, right? Well, after the awful Bomberman Act Zero they worked on for the 360, they shortly after had this bad flying game that barely anyone recalls. While they did not develop it themselves, it's an example of a game that might not be low-budget, but it sure feels like it.

  6. Eurofighter Typhoon

Yes, taking command of a cool-looking aircraft seems like a great concept that feels very dull really quickly.

  7. F/A-18 Operation Iraqi Freedom

With a title like that, you're thinking, huh? You may think it's alright, but that's simply it. It's simply an average or below-average flying game that feels like nothing special.

  8. Aces of the Air

This game was released during the PlayStation 1's decline as it slipped away for the newer PlayStation 2 console, and while you may not have heard of this game either, I can say it looks fine at least, unlike other games that have come late in a console's existence.

  9. AeroFly FS

There's this and the sequel, which you could pick between to see which is the lesser of the two, so I went with the less well-known one, which would be this one.

  10. Radio Helicopter (Wii)

Yep, two Wii games, both not very appealing or good. This one, in fact, is more like they tried, but not hard enough for the gamer to stop caring after playing the first 5 minutes, maybe less than that if lucky.

  11. The Contenders
  12. Superman 64
