Top Ten Websites That Cure Boredom

Sometimes, when there's nothing else (seemingly) better to do, you just feel like surfing the web. But going from site to site looking for amusement (with no satisfying destination in sight) can be a tedious and counterproductive exercise. Well, that's what these websites are for, my friends. Let your online diversion begin!

It would have been blasphemous if I hadn't put this at the top of the list. Thankfully, I truly believe it deserves the crown.

The perfect place to go compliment or roast popular or unpopular things as much as you please.

TheTopTens is an interesting site with a few flaws, and it's a great place to make new friends.

2 reddit Reddit (stylized in all lowercase as reddit) is an American social news aggregation, content rating, and discussion website. Registered users (commonly referred to as "Redditors") submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members... read more

If you're an active internet user, chances are you are aware of the existence of this site. Just stay away from the weird and dark areas of the site. There are certain things you can never unsee. I am being completely serious, kids - dead serious.

A very interesting site with all kinds of communities, but it can get annoying. I never get bored here.

Ling Ling 40 hrs. This is why I voted.

I usually listen to music in class using YouTube.

You can find anything you want on YouTube: cartoons from your past, any kind of music (even whole concerts and operas), animal footage, scientific stuff, and more. However, you need to be careful on such a popular website because it has some blots. I mean, of course, there are disturbing videos such as creepypastas, scary commercials, and even unsavory Adventure Time fan videos!

Believe me, the people who run this site are only satisfied with the absolute truth.

It's a game website owned by GameStop that has what is believed to be over 80,000 free online games. Need I say more?

9 Cracked

Basically, it's your one-stop random shop. You better not have access to a credit card because this site will suck you absolutely dry. It's got all the random items you could ever want to buy.

The Contenders
11 The Useless Web

This site is a portal to the most random, useless, crazy webpages out there. It's like StumbleUpon for people on acid.

I found it in biology class because of sheer boredom.

Join the site for free, and you have the ability to make online quizzes about pretty much anything you want. Of course, you can also do the quizzes. I've spent many days on this site, I'll tell you.

This site is a touchy one since you need to be very careful around it. For those of us who are mature enough to be safe online without making real problems for ourselves, it is clear we can use this site and potentially see the fun side of it. However, and I'm talking to you, young TopTens users, anyone who is not mature enough to handle a site that allows you to talk to complete strangers should stay far away from it.
