My Two Cents On: The TTG Movie

TheReviewer20 Apparently, TTG is getting a movie. Not a TV movie, an actual full-length feature film that will be shown in theaters. Now, I don’t hate Teen Titans Go! It’s one of those series that when they try and put effort into their work, it turns out great. But, when the writers (or in the case of Season 3, writer) get lazy and try to attack critics and other lazy stuff, it turns into horrible episodes that seem to come off as whiny. But it’s getting a feature film? That would make sense if the ratings were high. But even the most advisered of episodes this year, being TNBTS miniseries, couldn’t get 2 mil in ratings. In comparison, a new episode of Paw Patrol got more than 2 million.

But enough about CN’s descion to make the movie. Let’s talk about the movie itself. TTG has usually been a cartoon series filled with 11 on 22 minute episodes. Will it even have the experience of long plots to take on an at least 90 minute time slot? Most likely not. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a lot of rehashing and filler. Will the animation improve? Definitely. It’s gotta have some appeal to the adults. Will the writing be any good? That one will have to wait and see. Honestly, I’m surprised what a movie that hasn’t everything going against it will be about, plot wise of course. The Lego Movie was Great, The Emoji Movie was Sh*t, so I’ll be waiting to see what happens.

But, if you hate TTG and want to see how bad the movie actually might be, then don’t pay to watch it. After the release of it, there will be many recordings of the movie online, both legal and illegal. Go for the legal ones. It’s better to go the long way and be safe than go the short way and be arrested.

Until then, this is TR20 typing goodbye!
