Egnomac's Loud House Episode Review Season 2 Episode 21B No Spoilers
egnomac Season 2 Episode 21B No Spoilers, Due to Leni's history of spoiling surprise parties the siblings decide not to tell her about mom's upcoming surprise birthday party.The episode starts with Leni staring at Cliff believing Lincoln that she could communicate with him by blinking as Lincoln who was spying on her rushes to a family meeting in Lori and Leni's room as they are planning a surprise party for mom's birthday as Lincoln breaks the fourth wall explaining how in the past they've tried throwing surprise parties but are always ruined by Leni who ends up spoiling them as we get a a series of flashbacks of Leni spoiling past surprise parties the first being Lori's as everyone hides in the house as Lori is heading their way only for Leni to be standing in front of the door with a present in hand as Lori asks her what she's doing as Leni tells her she's hiding for her surprise party as everyone in the house groans, next she sends Lisa an invite to her own surprise party and last she asks Luna which dress she should wear to Luna's own surprise party as Luna becomes annoyed as Luan comes in makes a pun "I think you just blue the surprise" then laughs and adds that Leni ruined the surprise again. As much as they love Leni to ensure the surprise party stays a surprise they're keeping it all a secret from her as Lori goes over the plan as she will handle the cleaning, Lynn and Lola will handle the food, Lana and Lucy will handle decorations, Luan and Luna will handle the entertainment, Lisa will be in charge of the guest list, dad will get mom out of the house as Lincoln asks what his role will be as Lori explains he will be in charge of keeping Leni distracted and if she's heading their way to yell out the code word daffodil moments later Leni bursts open the door as everyone screams and she too screams thinking its their new way of saying hello as she goes to get her nail polish as she explains Cliff blinked that he wants her to get it for him then tells everyone that its mom's birthday today and they should throw their famous Loud House surprise parties and if they agree she'll go tell mom as Lori lies telling her that mom dosne't want a party this year and wants to keep it low key as everyone agrees as Lincoln immediately goes to work distracting Leni so everyone can get started preparing for mom's birthday.
Lincoln asks Leni several questions about fashion in order to keep her occupied but this proves to be very difficult as Leni keeps leaving the room for one reason or another as she heads downstairs to get a drink Lincoln tries shouting the code word but is unable to remember it as Leni heads downstairs where Lana and Lucy are setting up and are forced to stop as one of the balloons Lana was blowing up gets loose and releases air which makes Leni stop in embarrassment thinking that she farted as she brushes it off telling them sorry and that it must have been something she ate, in the kitchen Lynn and Lola are making the food when they see Leni enter not suspecting anything as he goes into the refrigerator to get a drink Lincoln shows up late and yells out the code word even though he didn't really need to at this point. Back at Leni's room Lincoln offers to be a model for her meanwhile in the hallway Luna and Leni are carrying some of their stuff downstairs as Lori tells them to be quite about it so Leni doesn't hear but Luna trips on one of Luan's props and drops her drums and symbols as Leni wondering what the noise was goes to check it out as Lincoln yells out daffodil as he tries to stop her he trips on Luna's drum and falls down the stairs where Lucy, Lana and Lisa are and tell him to get it together as they're never gonna get done if they have to keep starting over as Leni along with Lori come down to check on Lincoln as she tells him if he wants to jump down the stairs she's got just the thing parachute pants then notices the popped balloons on her head and suggest that even if their not having a party for mom they should at least decorate as Lisa again reminds them their keeping it low key. As a last resort of getting rid of Leni Lincoln sends her on a phony errand to get a birthday card for mom one of a camel in a space suit that's scratch n sniff that says "Happy Birthday from your 11 kids" Leni agrees but is not sure where to get one as he tells her to go to the Hazetucky Party Outlet and despite it taking three bus rides to get there Leni happily goes with her gone the kids are finally able to finish decorating.
Even with Leni gone the kids attempt at setting up a party for mom proves discourteous as nearly everyone fails at their job which includes Lisa inviting only Flip, Mr, Grouse, and mom's boss Dr. Finestein, Lucy and Lana failing on decorations, even Luan and Luna fail at the entertainment as well as Lynn and Lola with the food with Lynn making sub sandwiches extra spicy and Lola's cake being overloaded with sugar, the kids begin arguing over how a disaster everything has been as they now realize that even though Leni tends to spoil surprise parties she's the only one who knows how to pull off a good party as she actually thinks about what people like. Realizing Leni is the only one who can save this party they try to call her but she dosne't answer as she is too distracted with still trying to find the birthday card that Lincoln described, with no other choice they try to go find Leni but are unable to find her and have to go back home realizing they have failed at throwing a party for mom. When they arrive home their are surprised to find that Leni has completely set up for mom's party including inviting Pop Pop, Aunt Ruth and a couple of mom's friends and even got the special card Lincoln described earlier as they ask how she did it all as Leni explains that while at the party shop she found all this great stuff and decided to set it all up for mom since she deserves a great party. Moments later dad gives the signal that they're coming in as everyone hides to surprise mom for her birthday, Rita is amazed by it all and getting down every detail of what mom likes as Lincoln explains that she should thank Leni for making it all possible and apologize to Leni for trying to keep her from helping them out realizing she's the only one who can make a party great and decide to make her their official party planner excited Leni then tells dad she's planning his surprise party next and will send him an invitation as everyone smacks their head in annoyance as the episode ends.
In my opinion its another GOOD EPISODE and also a great Leni episode and even though she does tend to spoil a lot of surprise party and may not be the sharpest tool in the shed its still amazing that she was able to set up for mom's birthday by herself when her siblings combined couldn't pull it off not only that but she was able to get down every detail of what mom likes, a couple of funny moments include when they show a flashback of Leni spoiling the other kids surprise parties and later as Lincoln tries to keep Leni from finding out about mom's surprise party like when she's heading down stairs and Lana and Lucy are forced to stop and a balloon Lana was blowing up gets loose and makes a farting sound which causes Leni to think it was her, I really recommend this episode if you haven't seen it.
