Most Anticipated Movies that Were Delayed Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic
Which movies were you the most upset about being delayed due to COVID-19? Why?The next movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the first movies to be delayed and one of the most anticipated.
I wanted this movie to come out forever, but now it's here. Phew! Great movie! Go Marvel, Scarlett Johansson, and Black Widow!
The first movie to actually have the actors filmed in space. A huge breakthrough, and I was sad to see it delayed.
Yeah, the first movie to be recorded in space is quite the breakthrough.
Wonder Woman is awesome, and Steve Trevor will come back!
Sadly, Johnny Depp will not be participating as Grindelwald in this due to the Heard/Depp conflict. Hopefully, the series can still be worth watching without him.
Interesting-sounding movie. A sequel to the first one. Hopefully, it will be a mind-bending movie, which Marvel has failed to deliver so far.
Oof, yeah, I was disappointed when I heard this movie was postponed. As soon as it's released, I'll watch it in the cinema.
James Bond used to be just action and bikinis. Now it's action and smaller bikinis.
James Bond is the most iconic franchise ever, so this should be first.
This movie being delayed hits me the most personally. Instead of all these movies with the potential to dominate the box office this year, we're getting scumbag garbage like Songbird!
A funny Ryan Reynolds movie about a video game character called Guy. One of the ones that I am most excited for, and it looks to be quite light and enjoyable.
Finally, a unique and inspired movie. This one is directed by Waititi, just so you know.
Although this movie is now in theatres (and not doing extremely well, I might add), it was pushed back a few months and deserves a spot on this list. Christopher Nolan, the genius who gifted us with the Dark Knight trilogy and Inception, directed it, and you can bet Tenet will be good as well.
Tenet is actually a palindrome, meaning it is the same if you spell it backward. This probably references how the protagonist (John David Washington) is constantly moving backward in time, making his mission much harder.
The ninth installment in the popular series. One that I am excited to see.
The first was a pretty good movie, so the second should be good as well. Logic, right?
I really want to watch this movie. Hope they have a Dole Whip cameo. Dwayne The Rock Johnson stars alongside either Emma Stone, Amanda Seyfried, or Emma Watson. I am so excited, and I love the ride. Hope we don't have to pay for it on Disney Plus.
Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt on the popular Disney ride. It should be fun to watch.
Paul Rudd is a hilarious actor, and Finn Wolfhard will be playing the leading role. He was a great actor in Stranger Things. With modern-day special effects, this could definitely top the original.
When movies are delayed! In the neighborhood! Who you gonna call? Ghostbusters!
I love how Finn Wolfhard wore the Ghostbusters costume in Stranger Things Season 2 as Mike, and now he's actually a Ghostbuster.
I actually haven't seen the newest Jurassic World movie. I must watch it before this one comes out.
Mindlessly violent, but the series is still pretty good, and the fourth is highly anticipated.
The first one was a highly enjoyable movie that I liked quite a bit. Some of the jokes were kind of feeble, but most were well done. I hope this one is as good as the first.
An upcoming movie about Batman, whose character will be played by Robert Pattinson. I doubt it will live up to Nolan's amazing Dark Knight trilogy, but who knows?
Why is nobody acknowledging how amazing this series is? I agree with sloth21 that Inception is amazing, but The Matrix is just as good if not better.
This is a biographical movie about the famous music star. I might not have considered it a movie before this, but thank you to whoever added it to this list.
