Best Bond Films with Roger Moore as Agent 007

Known for his suave demeanor, sharp wit, and a touch of playfulness, Moore's take on 007 introduced a lighter tone and a sense of humor that made his films uniquely entertaining. From exotic locales to daring stunts and unforgettable villains, Moore's tenure as Bond delivered some of the series' most iconic moments.
The Top Ten
Live and Let Die James Bond investigates the deaths of three British agents, uncovering a connection to a Harlem drug lord and a Caribbean dictator. The mission leads him to a plot involving heroin smuggling and a dangerous psychic ally. Bond uses his resourcefulness to thwart the scheme and eliminate his enemies.

While problematic in that it is steeped in racist undertones, it's still entertaining.

This is the best 007 film of all time!

The Spy Who Loved Me When British and Soviet nuclear submarines go missing, Bond teams up with Soviet agent Anya Amasova to track down the culprit. They discover a megalomaniac's plan to create an underwater utopia by triggering nuclear war. Bond must stop the villain's supertanker and save the world from destruction.

Roger never did it better.

For Your Eyes Only After a British spy ship is sunk, Bond is tasked with recovering a vital encryption device before it falls into enemy hands. His mission takes him across Europe as he confronts a smuggling operation and a vengeful Greek woman. Bond faces betrayal and danger in a race to secure the device.

No offense, Alexander, but this is the greatest James Bond movie. It's one of the few, besides Dr. No and On Her Majesty's Secret Service, where Bond has to rely on his wits and not Q's gadgets to save his life. The most superb scene is when James uses his shoelaces to get out of an impossible situation. Breathtakingly awesome. A must-own film.

Mostly good. The start and end just let it down.

The Man with the Golden Gun Bond becomes the target of an assassin known as Scaramanga, who possesses a unique golden gun. The mission uncovers a connection between Scaramanga and a solar energy device of global significance. Bond outsmarts his adversary in a climactic showdown.

Francisco Scaramanga is one of the best villains, along with his henchman Nick Nack. There's lots of amazing action and humor. Probably my second favorite Bond film.

Rushed, but it has its moments.

A View to a Kill Bond investigates a powerful industrialist, Max Zorin, who plans to destroy Silicon Valley to dominate the microchip market. The trail leads Bond to high-tech facilities, a horse-racing scandal, and a deadly blimp showdown. Bond must thwart Zorin's plot and prevent catastrophic flooding.

This is underrated and needs more love.

Octopussy Bond investigates the murder of a colleague and uncovers a smuggling ring tied to a Soviet general's nuclear plot. His mission takes him to India and Germany, where he collaborates with the enigmatic Octopussy and her circus troupe. Bond must stop the general from triggering a deadly explosion.

Very underrated.

Moonraker Bond investigates the disappearance of a space shuttle and discovers a billionaire's plan to create a master race in space. The mission leads Bond to Venice, Rio de Janeiro, and outer space itself. Bond confronts the villain and prevents the annihilation of Earth's population.

This movie just feels like a nicer, more family-friendly film. It has a childish plot, but to be honest, if you're just about to end summer holidays, this is the movie for you.

This movie is so underrated. This is my favorite Moore 007 film.

A guilty pleasure.
