Best Bromances in TV and Film
Joey famously told Chandler as he was moving out, "We're not Bert and Ernie." But this isn't quite true. While their personalities differ, Chandler is definitely the confused and neurotic Bert to Joey's laid-back Ernie.
Even though skekGra gets impatient with urGoh, they have great affection for one another and are literally each other's half. In other words, skekGra is very much a tsundere towards urGoh.
This one's dysfunctional. One is a bounty hunter, the other a feisty, scruffy Mexican bandit. They come up with a scam to earn bounty money by saving Tuco from the noose. However, the bandit starts complaining, and their partnership ends. Hilariously, Tuco reacts like he got dumped and begins plotting revenge on the Man With No Name.
What follows is Tuco refusing to stay away from Blondie as they grudgingly work together to find buried treasure. They also seem to love tying each other up, which adds to the amusement.
Eddy has kissed Edd under blackmail, the two have slept in the same bed (Rolf's), and Eddy has landed in Edd's arms by accident (to which Edd quipped, "What? No flowers?"). In the movie, Edd gently took Eddy's hands, and they exchanged smiles, even though Eddy doesn't normally like to be hugged or touched.
Although they're a dysfunctional pair, they're better parents to Ed than his own parents.
How are Walter and Jesse even bros? They just fought a lot! Troy and Abed, on the other hand, were the truest of bros. They rapped about how Cameron Diaz is "the goat's moustache."
They decorated Troy as a Christmas tree while singing "Christmas Troy." They also created "Troy and Abed in the morning! NIGHTS!"
Trobed is the purest form of bromance. I aspire to have this kind of relationship in my life.
Troy had feelings for Abed. Everyone could see that.
Sam is very touchy-feely with Guy. Although Guy's feelings towards Sam are platonic, he likes Sam but won't easily admit it.
The Newcomers
Robin is Julian's closest friend. There's not much going on between them romantically, but they are really good buddies. In the episode The Woodworm Men, they spent the night huddled together near the house.
Arsene Lupin III and Daisuke Jigen are an inseparable pair. They go almost everywhere together and always have each other's backs.
This one was unusual because they were once teacher and student. However, they play off one another very well.
Classic yin-and-yang comedy duo. Happy is overly affectionate towards Grumpy, who finds Happy a nuisance most of the time. However, Grumpy will sometimes admit that he likes Happy.
These guys are hilariously tight. Easily #1.
Buck and Larry are like Otto's adoptive parents, with Buck being the lazy father and Larry being the doting maternal figure. They were also implied to have had an intimate relationship at some point.
Lupin takes delight in provoking Zenigata, and Zenigata's life goal is to arrest Lupin. They are borderline obsessed with each other. They get along really well when they're drinking, though here Lupin is just pretending.
Their relationship varies. Lupin's behavior towards Zenigata ranges from pranks to torment to playful teasing. Zenigata's behavior towards Lupin varies as well. Sometimes he's glad to be rid of him. Other times he enjoys the thrill of the chase and sorely misses him when it seems Lupin is gone.
These two share a love of wealth and luxury. You could say they're partners in crime. A reformed villain, Iago is the one who comes up with all the plans. Abu is a bit more level-headed but constantly lets Iago talk him into these schemes. Iago can play Abu like a zither, but he has also shown a poorly hidden deep concern for the monkey.
The two constantly grab, tackle, and collapse on top of each other. Iago even went so far as to kiss Abu on the forehead in one episode.
Iago does have a female love interest whom he seems to care about very much. However, being a workaholic, she only appears in a few episodes.
All the same, these two seem to care more about each other than they do about getting rich.
