No assassin should ever be without a tattoo.
In case you're wondering, "Fortis Fortuna Adiuvat" translates to "Fortune Favors the Bold."
-
Maui (Moana)
If you really think about it, take away the hair and it's roughly a near-exact replica of the actor portraying him.
Massive shoutout to The Rock for his incredible voiceover performance.
-
Connor and Murphy McManus (The Boondock Saints)
If you've never seen this movie, here's the gist: two Irish Catholic brothers become vigilantes in an effort to wipe out Boston's criminal underworld in the name of God.
As for their Latin tattoos, "veritas" and "aequitas" translate to "truth" and "justice" in English, signifying their commitment to the cause. If you haven't already, go watch it.
-
The Joker (Suicide Squad)
RIP Heath Ledger. He should've at least gotten his Oscar before death, but in any case, we've gotta discuss the Joker abomination that is Jared Leto, unfortunately.
Method acting will forever have its reputation ruined due to this degenerate scumbag reeling the character too deeply into his actual persona, which might be even worse. And the tattoos? Just a "HA HA" on one hand and "Damaged" on the forehead, which is certainly what you'd expect from this chaotic lunatic doing everything he can to turn you off from ever even mentioning the Suicide Squad movie.

His role in society practically calls for a tattoo. Name one gritty, crime-fighting vigilante who doesn't have some sort of ink.
The realism behind this individual's visible tattoos beneath his costume is so captivating it's hard to even imagine sketching them out.
-
Cara Dune (The Mandalorian)
Again, the career choice plays a role in whether to get tattoos along with it. Surely, if you're a fictional rebel, there's no need to stereotype when it's already been shown that tattoos enhance qualities that align with your own ideals.
Nothing short of self-explanatory, if you ask me.

Stu Price (The Hangover)
This dude suffered a lot throughout the first Hangover, from his girlfriend cheating on him with a sailor and flat-out presenting herself as a control freak, to losing his tooth from a bet he forgot about, to getting tased by the police in front of children in a school classroom.
In the end though, he ended up with a stripper out of his league and broke up with the woman he found himself almost proposing to. That being said, the whole point of him being chosen for this very particular subject was due to having a tattoo. The Hangover sequel features another wake-up scene, this time shadowing Mike Tyson's astounding body art.
