Top 10 Best Albums of 1986
-
Master of Puppets - Metallica
The epicness of the title track is enough to place this at No. 1, not to mention the brutal force found in Battery and Damage, Inc.
-
Reign In Blood - Slayer
-
The Final Countdown - Europe
-
Peace Sells... but Who's Buying? - Megadeth
The whole album is perfect. Get it. Just get it now. Buy it, borrow it, steal it - I don't care, just get it.
Come on, Wake Up Dead and Peace Sells are cool.
-
A Kind of Magic - Queen
Today, this would be called "Highlander" - music from and inspired by the original motion picture. Thankfully, they called it A Kind of Magic. Fun album with a terrific cover.
So much better than Madonna. This album is great. Queen is awesome. RIP Freddie Mercury.
-
The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths
I can understand Metallica, Slayer, and even Madonna, but one of the weakest Queen albums over this masterpiece? Give me a break.
The Queen Is Dead should be number one for sure. There Is a Light That Never Goes Out.
-
True Blue - Madonna
I remember when I was young and listening to this with my sister on vinyl. This album, personally, is truly beautiful, and in another way, it is awesome.
Some of her biggest hits are here: La Isla Bonita, Live to Tell, Papa Don't Preach, Open Your Heart, and True Blue.
-
Somewhere In Time - Iron Maiden
-
Invisible Touch - Genesis
-
Slippery When Wet - Bon Jovi
If this album is not at least in 3rd place, these ratings are one big lie.
