Best Billy Talent Albums
Dead Silence is only #1 because it's new and fresh. If you really compare all their albums, II comes out on top, in my opinion at least. Dead Silence is great too, of course, but Billy Talent II is, and probably will always be, their best work. It's a modern classic and will be remembered forever.
Their best songs are in this album. Come on!

The other albums are very good too, but this one is THE best.
Dead Silence is a more refined album, but this one is their best, including all the hits, catchiest songs, and best riffs to date.
II was Billy Talent's most popular album and probably had their best songs, but this one is much better.
Its sound may not be as appealing to most people as the second album, but the whole album from start to finish is GOLD. While II has some of their best songs, it also has, in my opinion, some of their worst work. This album, on the other hand, doesn't have any bad songs, and they are so varied that you can listen to it four or five times in a row without getting tired of it. I don't think they will ever make an album that surpasses this one.
Viking Death March is an amazing song. Surprise, surprise - it reminds me of their older stuff. This album is a mix of their older material.
This album is Billy Talent giving it their all.

This album has the highest percentage of great songs. All the other albums have a few more forgettable tracks than this one. While I love songs from their other albums, The Dead Can't Testify, Tears Into Wine, White Sparrows, Diamond on a Landmine, and Rusted from the Rain really take it for me.
I seriously don't get why this album is rated so low.
Is it due to the gloomy atmosphere?
The first five songs on this album are badass!
The new album has quite a few bangers, but it's still not as good as the first two releases from Billy Talent.
