Believe it or not, I'm only 13, but this is the song my younger brother and I both listened to around 2007 or something. It's a lovely song which my dad used to listen to, and now we listen to the same song, still here in 2013.
Seriously, this song rocks, and it will never be forgotten as long as we keep loving it. Summer of '69 is like one of the hottest songs most rock bands in Bangladesh still perform, and as far as I see it, everyone loves Bryan Adams. Bryan Adams forever for this song called Summer of '69.
The best song ever! All my friends don't understand why I can listen to this kind of music. They think that real music is dubstep, and hell, I know!
But this is real music! For me, this is the most romantic song ever. When I'm getting married... if I'm going to get married, this will be the song, my song! This song reaches your heart, your soul, and it has a meaning in it. Wonderful! Amazing!
I'm going to his concert (I hope if there are tickets left) and listen to real music!
I love this song because it also reflects my deepest feelings for the boy I love and hope to meet him soon. So this song has a very special place in my heart. Love Bryan Adams!
I am 51. I heard it when I was in my graduation. Till today, it has remained my favorite, and I always listen to it. When I buy a new headphone, new mobile, new music system, I play this song first. This must have been number 1.
Summer of '69 has beautiful lyrics, but this song has beautiful lyrics as well as a fine melody. Nothing can beat this song.
The guitar riff is nothing short of ICONIC! Gives me chills, especially at the bridge where the music strips back to the guitar, then blasts into the final chorus. Phenomenal - definitely number 1 for me!
Great song! One for all generations. The emotion pouring out of this song just makes your heart melt away. I'm surprised 'When You Love Someone' is not on this list. It definitely should be here and in the top 10 along with this great song.
The song is pretty awesome! I mean, it's just completely underrated. This one ought to be number 1 on this list. Summer of '69 is a good song, but how come everyone votes for it?
I'm here for the acoustic version. Yup, it's much better than the original. Especially the flute part along with Bryan's voice will surely make you feel in Heaven.
I'm not sure why this song isn't listed higher here. What a wonderful tune.
This is only ranked #25, why? Give it a listen, people.
Come on! This should be in the top 10 at least.
I believe this one is the best! Summer of '69 just stands out for its popularity, but Here I Am is truly a marvel! Awesome is the only word that can describe it. Bryan Adams rocks!
Awesome, and I love this track since my school days. Great! And I love Bryan Adams too. Last time when he came to Mumbai and Bangalore, alas, I missed it. Please come to Kolkata. Looking forward to seeing you. God bless.
The most notable song I know of Bryan Adams, full of feelings. For me, the best, also included in the movie Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron (2002), a film full of beauty and emotion.
Excellent song from the "big hair" era. On its release, it sounded like a blast from the past!
This isn't my favorite Bryan Adams song, but it's a classic, so I'm stunned this isn't higher!
My favorite Bryan Adams song. I think it's underrated and should be in the top 3 for sure.
The text is wonderful. Bryan Adams can write such good lyrics. And this song touched my heart. When I heard this song, I cried. And I've never cried when I heard a song before.
It's incredibly relaxing and peaceful. Very meaningful also. A beautiful love song. Now, if only we had more artists like Bryan Adams. That'd be wonderful.
If a guy were to sing this to me, I'd melt. My heart would just melt. This song is so- incredibly moving. I can't. It's just so- overwhelming. Words cannot describe.
I love this song. Bryan Adams's voice is so sexy in this song. You have to vote for this one! He's the best singer all over the world.
This track just plain rocks. It's brilliant in concert.
Love this Bryan Adams song. It always cheers me up when I'm feeling down.
Not yet 18 yet! But I did play this at full blast on New Year's Eve! Now to wait for my 18th birthday!
Awesome to play live!
Great song! I'm not 18 yet but I really think I'm gonna sing this song every day next year!
It's a Petrol Pump. If you ever need fuel just listen to it. I swear it will work. (Cited from my own experience)
An early example of what a phenomenal singer-songwriter Bryan is. All his songs showcase his talent and his band members.
Very, very, very good song. I loved it, and it's a very smooth song with a nice voice. Bryan Adams is a very professional singer. I love all his songs.
I also loved his (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, Do I Have to Say the Words?, Cloud Number Nine, Here I Am, All For Love, and Heaven were the best songs I ever heard. He is so handsome.
You can have a favorite musical taste, as everyone but one person who truly understands the meaning of music really knows that, this song is different. They are songs that appeal to everyone. I hope you belong to this glorious gift.
Even such old songs, when sung by Bryan Adams, can get the youth moving.
"You are the person I will never stop looking for in a crowded place."
Takes you right back to the year 1999. It's good to feel 20 years back with this song.
This song takes me back to you, Bryan! Simply wonderful!
This song is mind-blowing. Amazing song.
When he says "This is love and I've learned enough to know... I'm never letting go," you know that you are now in the presence of something which is out of this world. It's incredible really. He embodies love and with it, everything that is worth living for with this simple song.
It's sad really that it gets lost amid all his other songs (which are undoubtedly great too). This one, though, just stands out for me.
This track should have been at number 4. It has the best lyrics and seems as if it comes directly from Bryan's heart.
I ordered the DVD of the movie that features this song and realized much of what made the movie special was the music. The movie is "Don Juan De Marco," starring Marlon Brando, Johnny Depp, and Faye Dunaway. Worth seeking out!
Being a woman, I'd say if you wanted to romance me, this is one of the most beautiful songs to do that with. The other is "Can't Live" if living is without you. Remember Johnny Mathis. When he sang, I melted.
I love this song. I love this movie. It's just one of those songs and movies that fit together so well, and you just don't think about the cheesiness of it. Yes, it is cheesy, I will admit it, but the romance book lover in me just fell in love with this.
This song is just way too good! The live versions, especially the 1992-1994 ones, make me want to get up, smash a chair, charge out of the house, and dance in the street!
This song shows his rocker side!
Amazingly emotional song. It's hard to pick a favorite Bryan Adams song, but this one is so powerful in its simplicity.
Awesome song! Lovely lyrics. It's just not very well publicized. I would recommend everyone coming to this page to give it a listen.
What a shame that this piece of love art was not more known.
Another case of an artist having too many well-penned songs. This would be in most artists' top ten, I'd imagine.
How is this not top 10? He and Tina Turner make magic on this track!
One of the best songs of recent years, a UK number 1 hit in 2004. Probably very underrated, it's a great modern rock song, about the 'road', which is the 'road of life', full of ups and downs. Lyrics: "Life is the greatest story ever told". We often forget this.
This song is really good! And so was the album!
Really melodious. The tune after the second chorus makes me nostalgic.
I really love this song because it really touches the heart.
Simple song with a wonderful melody. First Bryan Adams song I fell in love with in 1983.
One of the best songs Bryan has ever played live, especially with his scream at the end.
