I was really impressed the first time I listened to "Somewhere." Her vocal technique is amazing, almost perfect. Her rhythm is crystal clear, pure, and angelic. Even though her voice isn't as dramatic and resonant as Whitney's and she can't use whistle notes like Mariah Carey, her musical technique is the best. Every note is perfectly controlled. Her belting is long, powerful, and somewhat resonant, but it's not annoying like Christina's (she is good but often overdoes it with growling and lacks proper technique). If you enjoy listening to belting songs, I recommend the endings of these two songs: "Somewhere" and "A Piece of Sky."

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was an American singer, actress, producer, and model. She holds the Guinness World Record as the most awarded female artist of all time, with over 400 career awards as of 2006, and was named the most awarded female act in 2009.... read more

From 2008 to 2011, Charice slayed my entire existence. She didn't have the range of Regine or the mastery of head voice like Whitney, but her belts were the best - extremely powerful, resonant, and with a unique tone. I wish she had been more popular because I believe she was one of the best singers to grace the 21st century.
