Best Puddle of Mudd Songs
Obviously, there's no question about it. This is not only their best song but also one of the greatest Rock songs of the 21st century. The rhythm, the chorus, the guitar riff - everything is just perfect. The last minute of this song is the greatest 60 seconds of music to ever exist.
Undoubtedly, this song is brilliant musically and lyrically, and it tells a true story many, like myself, have lived through. Even without the story, it's a delight musically. Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, and Nirvana would all be proud. Rank? Alongside Gimme Shelter, for me anyway.
This song will get stuck in your head like a parasite. The rhythm and words are so... ugh. There is no song that will get stuck in your head like this one. Why this isn't number #1 on this list, I don't know. Blurry is very good, yes, but this outshines any song.
It's between this one, "Blurry," and "Control." Hard vote, but "She Hates Me" got my vote because I love the angst and the fact that I can headbang to it more than any other Puddle of Mudd song, even though all of them are good.
1. She Hates Me
2. Control
3. Blurry
This song is epic. It should be at number 3 after Blurry and Psycho. This is my favorite song. The intro is awesome, and the chorus is amazing. It's a nice song to dedicate to your ex.
I remember the day I started playing guitar with my colleagues in my father's garage. That unique feeling of imitating a tough vocalist like Puddle of Mudd, and above all, writing down every note of the best hit in your mind from your favorite band, just overwhelmed my soul in those moments. Later, knowing it would be worth spending every damn second hitting the drums as well to match the end result of a good Control cover - and that it really worked - was incredible!
This song goes off and could easily be at number 1 ahead of Blurry. Cool lyrics as well as loud drums and guitar. The mosh pit is calling!
This is an amazing song. So underrated it makes me want to throw up. Bully is way too soft of a song for me considering I'm into Slipknot and other stuff like that. This is probably one of my favorite Rock bands of all time. Now that's not metal. That's rock, so get it straight.
Great song, my second favorite by PoM after She Hates Me.
This song is great. Very underrated!
Occasionally, I tend to prefer more Heavy Metal songs, but right now, after listening to Drift and Die, I realize that it is undoubtedly the most mature Puddle of Mudd song. The melody has a composition of very abstract musical arrangements, and the vocalization is incredibly well-balanced to tell its story with decent lyrics.
Great acoustic overtone. The song gets heavier too with every second passing by. Awesome vocal performance also. I adore this song!
There really is no other Puddle of Mudd album that comes close to this one. "Drift and Die" is such a full song.
Number 8? I can't believe this. This song is very addictive, especially the intro. I love it so much. It consumes me!
Number 8? Dang, man, I love this song. It should at least be 6 or higher.
Wow, their heaviest song in my opinion. Not sure if the best but sounds pretty heavy to be honest.
Top 8 is unfair. This song is awesome and deserves more popularity than it has.
Invincible song! The bass is stunning, the lyrics are good, and the drumming is great, though.
Very heavy song. It reminds me more of a nu-metal song, but either way, it's great.
This one is spectacular - my second favorite song by this band.
Why is this so low?! Famous isn't even a good song, but it's ahead of this one.
Pure grungy goodness here. My favorite by them, except for the entire 1994 Stuck EP.
This is such a nice song. Not the best, probably, but it's always good to listen to.
This should be rated a little higher in my point of view. This song is just awesome. It would be cool if they put this song in the end credits of a movie or a WWE game.
Man, this song takes me back to WWE Royal Rumble 2004!
Really? This should be in the top 10.
Came home from work. My girlfriend was on the living room floor, all boozed up with this song blaring at high volume on iTunes from the computer on repeat. The song played over 70 times that day. What can I say... it grew on me.
How can this song not be higher!?
Shoot this one right up to the top 5! What!
This song makes me think about my girl.
Best ever! Listen to it in the car at full blast. It gets so many emotions flowing! I listen to it over and over!
