Best Songs From Lou Reed and Metallica's Lulu
Lulu is a collaborative album between rock singer-songwriter Lou Reed and the heavy metal band Metallica. Here's my ranking:
1. Junior Dad (Catchy and the only song where Lou Reed plays a good role)
2. The View (Because of James's vocals)
3. Dragon (Good rhythm)
4. Frustration (Reminds me of old Metallica)
5. Iced Honey (Catchy)
6. Cheat On Me (Good rhythm)
7. Mistress Dread (Fast)
8. Little Dog (I don't remember the song very well)
9. Pumping Blood (Boring intro)
10. Brandenburg Gate (Good vocals from James)
By far the best song on the whole album! Very touching riff and lyrics. The riff gave me goosebumps.
One of the few good songs I like from the album. The vocals aren't as bad, and the music is beautiful.
If James hadn't said he was a tablet, I probably would have said this was the best song.
The only good song on the album.
I am the table!
Good riff, and this is the only song where Lou really sings. I also like The View, Junior Dad, and Brandenburg Gate.
Best song on the album, though it's a 2/10.
The only good song on the album.
The only bearable song on the album (other than maybe The View, but only because of the outro). On that note, Pumping Blood was surprisingly good. If someone could find a way to remove Reed's horrendous vocals, you would see that everything else sounds kind of awesome (but only kind of). A solid 4/10 - yes, Reed's vocals really are THAT BAD on this album.
For me, the best song on the album. It has a simple but great riff, and James Hetfield's vocals are excellent. This is the song from the album that I have listened to the most.
