Top 10 Best Whitesnake Songs
Few bands have defined hard rock quite like Whitesnake. Born from the bluesy ashes of Deep Purple, thanks to frontman David Coverdale, Whitesnake started as a soulful, groove-heavy rock band in the late '70s before evolving into the swaggering, big-haired, arena-filling force of the '80s. Along the way, they gave us some of the most unforgettable anthems of the era.
If you were anywhere near a radio or MTV in the mid-to-late '80s, you already know the band's most massive hits. Whitesnake mastered the art of the soaring power ballad, the fist-pumping rock anthem, and the kind of blues-drenched riffing that made you want to roll down your car windows and sing at the top of your lungs. But their catalog is deeper than just a handful of monster singles. Longtime fans know that beyond the stadium-sized choruses and electrifying solos, Whitesnake's music is packed with rich melodies, blistering guitar work, and enough emotion to power an arena full of raised lighters.
So, what are the best Whitesnake songs? That's where you come in. Whether you love the bluesy early years or the glossy, high-energy hits of the MTV era, your votes decide which songs stand at the top.

Still of the Night
This is such an awesome song! I play this song with my band, and it's awesome to play live because of all its great parts on all instruments. The lyrics are great too!
This song really is the second best song from Whitesnake, if not the best!
One of their heaviest songs. As much as I love the earlier, more blues-style stuff, this lets me really bang my head!
And that epic interlude! Man, I'm not gay, but just to hear Coverdale breathe is impressive.
I love all of Whitesnake's songs! David Coverdale has got the sexiest voice! I love his sexy voice in Still of the Night the best!

Is This Love
This song has the most meaning of any of their songs. I mean, they are an incredible band, but I value this song mostly. It can help even describe what life is like when you're in love.
One of the most powerfully true ballads ever! Literally a moving song. Whenever I hear this song, it actually produces a feeling of uplifting emotions.
One to cherish.
The build-up from the start is amazing, and the whole composition of the music is so well put together. The mood the song creates is just poetic and conveys its message beautifully.

Now You're Gone
Even though Still of the Night, Here I Go Again, and Is This Love are fantastic and some of my favorites, Now You're Gone just does it for me. So good.
It starts as though it's a slow ballad but quickly converts to a rocking love anthem.
Best Whitesnake song with the best guitar player in the world. I just love Steve Vai!

Judgement Day
Such a powerful song that I first heard 30 years ago. The song has just gotten better over time. Coverdale is just so good at selling every lyric.
They have so many great songs that I couldn't decide which one I should pick. I've voted for "Still of the Night," but "Judgement Day" is one of my favorites too.
Shame that I can only vote once.
One of the band's most epic songs. This is real heavy metal! Why so low on this list?
-
Slide It In
The guitar and drums in this song are killer. A must for a Whitesnake fan.
Way better than "Ain't No Love in the Heart of the City." Besides, it's a song they wrote.
-
All or Nothing
I have just discovered this song in the Slide It In album, and this song is a little gem. It is so good! I am very impressed by the energy of Coverdale and the music. The chorus of this song is terrific and energetic. A true gem.

The Deeper the Love
It's a legendary track and definitely one of the greatest songs ever written and recorded without a shadow of a doubt, not just in rock but in any category of music. It's so amazing, so beautiful, so exciting, and so intensely emotional that it's impossible to forget.
It puts 90% of today's music (that claims to be great) to utter shame. How it never got to number 1 in the UK when it was released is a mystery. It's better than any Beatles song that I've ever listened to.
Awesome song, great lyrics, great tempo. Songwriting at its best. Love the feel of this song and the great vocals by Coverdale. Lots of emotion!

Guilty of Love
This song is not one of the cliche ones that everyone knows. You can't say that you like one of those and claim to be a Whitesnake fan.
This song almost summarizes their music. All of the songs are amazing, but this one definitely deserves to be in the top 10.
Definitely should be higher. A very catchy chorus within what is really a rocking tune with some good riffs added to the mix.
