Top 10 SNSD (Girls' Generation) Members With the Best Voice
Tae is the best vocalist of SNSD and one of the best vocalists of K-pop by far. Being a soprano, she can sing very high, but she also sings low. She has a very powerful voice, nice control, beautiful tone, and she sings very emotionally. If you listen to Why, you'll see she can play with her voice and make a very hard song. She's awesome. Bye.
Taeyeon is clearly the best singer in SNSD. She has a powerful, angelic voice and good control. She conveys emotions beautifully when needed. Her high and low notes are awesome. No wonder most people want to collaborate with her. She's really good!
Seohyun is more consistent than Jessica. When it comes to technique, Seohyun is far above Tiffany. She is also the harmonizer of SNSD, making the entire group sound like one person together. She never messes up and sounds better in concert than on the CD. Only Seohyun can sing live perfectly all the time. While Taeyeon is the best singer, Seohyun is the most reliable. She never messes up her high notes. She is also very emotional and has a nice, thick, husky voice. Sometimes, even Taeyeon messes up, but Seohyun doesn't.
Jessica's voice is angelic and unique. Her tone changes to match the song, and she has a wide range. It is sweet and comforting. I love both her ballads and her more pop-styled songs. Her English singing is amazing, as well as Tiffany's. I think that Jessica's voice is at least the second best in the group. Jessica's voice has a unique timbre to it that I have never heard anywhere else.
Taeyeon is definitely the best singer whenever you talk about vocal technique. Although Jessica's pitch and tone are more suitable for me to hear in SNSD's songs. She was the first to catch my eyes and my ears. Her voice is so soft and sweet. It used to be what gave SNSD's songs that candy-sweet tone until 2014, harmonizing with Taeyeon's powerful vocals.
Tiffany has a beautiful voice! It's so unique compared to the rest of the members because it can be husky to high-pitched. The combinations she makes with her voice are unforgettable. Just check out every GG video, probably You Think, Mr. Mr., Lion Heart, etc.
Now, I know she doesn't hit high notes sometimes, but that doesn't mean her voice is terrible. When she does hit those notes, you'll want to hit that replay button over 9000 times.
She went from a few lines to the second most lines. After leaving SM, her vocals improved so much, and she can easily control her voice after cutting nodules. In the past, she couldn't sing like now. I'd vote for Jessica instead in the past, but now she's totally on another level.
Sunny should be in 3rd to 5th place. In SM ranking, she is fifth, but now she's improving rapidly and moving towards the 3rd to 4th place. Sunny fighting!
Sunny has improved since Gee and Genie. I really love how different her voice can be in various songs.
Sunny should be higher than Yuri and is maybe in the same standings as Tiffany. My opinion.
Yuri is good in both dancing and singing. She has a great voice. But because she has great dancing skills and also a sexy and good body, SM wants her to focus more on her dancing. Many people say she has a better voice than Yoona, Sooyoung, and Hyoyeon. For me, she can even beat Sunny. I think she can be a lead dancer and a lead singer.
Although Yuri is more of the "dancing group" in SNSD, her voice is actually very good. Personally, I think her voice is enough to land her in the "singing group" of SNSD. Her singing parts in SNSD's songs are really good, especially "Gee" and "Into the New World." Also, Sooyoung is quite good as well.
I love Sooyoung's voice. It's really beautiful and angelic-like. And not only that, her singing is improving day by day. I am so happy and proud of her! My bias! Keep going. I will always love you forever! Choi Sooyoung forever!
Sooyoung has a really good voice. I think she is much better than Yoona's duck voice.
I love her so much, and she is more talented and better than Yoona, but she is not as popular as Yoona. Many people vote for Yoona because she is popular but less talented.
Yoona may not have a powerful voice, but there's something about it that will relax you. I remember when Yoona started to sing the chorus of Into the New World, hoping her members would back her up but ended up singing it alone. Gosh, it was so angelic. She may not be the best singer in the group, but I honestly think she has better vocals when she relaxes her voice rather than forcing it, compared to other rap-line members. It's just that the other rap-line members have more powerful voices than her.
Yoona, unlike TaeTiSeo, has an amazing ability to sing and rap. It's evident she can do both, but she never had enough solos or opportunities to show it. I think just because she's the main visual, they are not giving her the spotlight to sing.
Hyoyeon is actually a better singer than Yoona, Sooyoung, Yuri, and Sunny. I did vote for her, but I have to admit some people are just better singers than her. But that's not the point. SM Entertainment underestimates Hyoyeon so much. Hyoyeon has a real voice, and they don't allow her to use it because they do not want her to be popular. Like what? Hyoyeon is a great vocalist, best dancer, and best rapper. There shouldn't be any arguments about that.
Hyoyeon is not a bad singer in my opinion. I honestly think Yoona should be number 9 instead of Hyoyeon. The main reason is that Yoona has a duck-ish voice, meaning she has a light, kinda weird voice, while Hyoyeon has a very unique voice. Although rapping and dancing are things that speak for themselves, her singing needs some attention as well. Live, she sounds different compared to how she sounds in music videos, but overall, I really like her voice.
