Top 10 SNSD (Girls' Generation) Members With the Best Voice

The Top Ten
1 Taeyeon

Taeyeon is the main vocalist of the group. She has such a diverse voice! Sometimes she sounds like she's been through 7 divorces and sometimes she sounds really happy! I don't know how someone can be so diverse! She's really amazing!

Tae is the best vocalist of SNSD and one of the best vocalists of k-pop by far. Being a Soprano, she can sing very high but she also sings low, she has a very powerful voice, nice control, beautiful tone and she sings very emotional. If you listen to 'Why' you'll see she can play with her voice and make a VERY hard song. She's awesome, bye.

2 Seohyun

Seohyun is more consistent than Jessica. When it comes to technique, Seohyun is so much above Tiffany, She is also the harmonizer of SNSD. She makes it so that the entire group sounds like on person, together. She never messes up and sounds better in concert that in the CD. Only Seohyun can sing live perfectly all the time. While Taeyeon is the best singer, Seohyun is the most reliable. She never messes up her high notes or singing. She is also very emotional and has a nice, thick, husky voice. Sometimes, even Taeyeon messes up, but Seohyun doesn't.

3 Jessica Jessica Sooyoun Jung was born on April 18, 1989. Known professionally as Jessica, she is an American singer, actress, and businesswoman currently based in South Korea. She is a former member of South Korean girl group Girls' Generation. In 2014, she established her apparel fashion brand, Blanc & Eclare... read more

Jessica's voice is angelic and unique. Her tone changes to match the song and she has a wide range. It is sweet and comforting. I love both her ballads and her more pop-styled songs. Her English singing is amazing as well as Tiffany. I think that Jessica's voice is at least the second best in the group. Jessica's voice has a unique timbre to it that I have never heard anywhere else.

Taeyeon is definitely the best singer whenever you talk about vocal technique. Although, Jessica's pitch and tone are more suitable for me to hear between SNSD's songs. She was the firsct to catch my eyes and my ears. Her voice is so soft and sweet that used to be what gave SNSD's songs that candy-sweet tone it had until 2014, harmonizing with Taeyeon's powerful vocals.

4 Tiffany Stephanie Young Hwang, known professionally as Tiffany, Tiffany Hwang or Tiffany Young, is an American singer.

Tiffany has a beautiful voice! It's so unique compared to the rest of the members, because it can be husky to high pitched. The combinations she makes with her voice are unforgettable. Just check out every GG video hehe, probably You Think, Mr. Mr., Lion Heart, etc.

Now, I know, she doesn't hit high notes sometimes, but that doesn't mean her voice is terrible. When she does hit those notes, you'll want to hit that replay button over 9000 times.

She went from few lines to second most lines. And after leaving SM, her vocal improved so much and she can easily control her voices after cutting nodules. In the past, she can't sing like now, I'd vote Jessica instead in past but now she's totally on the another level.

5 Sunny

Sunny should be in 3rd to 5th placing. In SM ranking she is the fifth, but now she's improving rapidly and moving towards the 3-4th placing. Sunny fighting!

Sunny has improved since Gee and Genie. I really love how different her voice can be in various songs.

Sunny should be higher than Yuri, and is (maybe? ) in the same standings with Tiffany. My opinion.

6 Yuri Kwon Yu-ri, better known by the mononym Yuri, is a South Korean singer and actress. She debuted as a member of girl group Girls' Generation in August 2007.

Yuri is good in both dancing and singing. Actually she has a great voice. But because she has a great dancing skill and also a sexy and good body, so SM wants her to focus more on her dancing. And many people says she has a better voice than Yoona, Sooyoung and Hyoyeon. For me she even can beat Sunny. I think she can be a lead dancer and a lead singer.

Although Yuri's more of the "dancing group" in SNSD her voice is actually very good. Personally I think her voice is enough to land her in the "singing group" of SNSD. Her singing parts in SNSD's songs are really good, especially gee and into the new world. Also Sooyoung's quite good as well

7 Sooyoung Choi Soo-young (born February 10, 1990), better known by the mononym Sooyoung, is a South Korean singer and actress. She was a part of the short-lived Korean-Japanese singing duo, Route θ, during 2002 in Japan. After returning to South Korea in 2004, Sooyoung eventually became a member of girl group... read more

I love Sooyoung's voice. It's really beautiful and angelic like... and not only that, her singing is improving day by day :-) I am so happy and proud of her! My bias! Keep going... I will always love you forever! ChoiSooyoung forever!

Sooyoung has a really good voice... I think she is much better than yoona's duck voice

I love her so much, and she is more talenteted better than yuna but she is not popular than yuna, so many people vote for yuna because yuna popular but least talent

8 Yoona

Yoona may not have a powerful voice, but there's something about it that will relax you. I remember when Yoona started to sing the chorus of ITNW hoping her members would back her up but ended singing it alone, gosh it was so angelic. She may not be the best singer in the group but I honestly think she has better vocals (when she relaxed her voice rather than forcing it) compared to other rapline members. Its just that the other rapline members has more powerful voice than her.

Yoona unlike TaeTiSeo has an amazing ability to be able to sing and rap. It's evident she can do both, but she never had enough solos or opportunities to show it. I think just because she's the main visual there're not giving her the spotlight to sing...

9 Hyoyeon

Hyoyeon is actually a better singer than yoona, sooyoung, yuri, and sunny. I did vote for her, but I have to admit some people are just better singers than her. But that's not the point. SM entertainment underestimates Hyoyeon so much. Hyoyeon has a real voice, and they don't allow her to use it because they do not want her to be popular. Like what? Hyoyeon is a great vocalist, best dancer, and best rapper. There shouldn't be any arguments about that :)))

HyoYeon is not a bad singer in my opinion, I honestly think Yoona should be number 9 instead of Hyoyeon, the main reason why is because Yoona has a duck-ish voice meaning she has a light kinda weird voice, while HyoYeon has a very short unique voice, although rapping and dancing are things that speak for themselves in her singing needs some attention as well, live she sounds different compared to how she sounds when she's singing on music videos, but over all I really like her voice.
