I've heard them all over a lifetime of following music. Try listening to this song by Jackie and crank up the volume. She's the best I've ever heard by far.
I don't know what she ate the day she recorded this song, but whatever it was, it worked. Her high notes in the middle of this song are the most beautiful sound I've ever heard. There are three words in the entire song, yet I can listen to it over and over and still be astounded.

I was at a gas station pumping gas and had my car door open with Your Love from Jackie Evancho's Awakening album playing loudly. So, everyone at all the gas pumps heard the wonderful song because the music was loud. Two men walked briskly toward my car. I thought they were going to complain about the music, and I said, I'll turn it off. They said, No, don't turn it off. That voice is amazing. They asked to see the case so they could see what the singer looked like and how to spell her name.
They laughed and said an amazing adult voice couldn't come from such a young child. I told them she was 13 when she recorded that song and that it was Jackie Evancho. I said all the songs on the album are terrific and recommended they buy several Awakening CDs for their wife, mom and dad, grandma, and grandpa, along with an I love you card. The only negative thing about doing that, I joked, is that you'll wake up in the morning with a sore neck, because the people you gave the CDs and card to will be mentally hugging you all night in appreciation of Jackie Evancho's awesome voice.
I told them Jackie was 16 years old as of May 2016. I explained that Jackie was discovered on America's Got Talent in 2010 when she was 10 years old. She performed in the first audition, the semi-final, the top 10, and the finals. Sharon Osbourne was one of the three judges, and after just 90 seconds of Jackie singing her first song (you can see it on YouTube), the crowd gave standing ovations and screamed in delight in all four performances.... read more

My Immortal
This is on the Japan-only release of "Awakening" (13th track). If it's not cut, you'll see Jackie play the piano and perform it on the PBS Great Performances special late November/December 2014. It is a shame that it wasn't released on the U.S. version.
